The city of Oakland is supposedly demanding to retain the brand in exchange for extending the lease of the coliseum until the Vegas stadium is done. I’m not sure what exactly they’re going to do with it though, although I think they might just pony up for a stadium as a fuck you at this point. Vegas Athletics sounds so lame though.

If course it was going to be unanimous. No owner wants to set the precedent that they should be responsible for their own stadium.
 
It's sad actually. Raiders and A's were iconic franchises back in the day. My dad worked for Guy F Atkinson Construction in South City who built the Coliseum. Then the Dubs came along. City has seen some championships and soon won't have a professional sports franchise.
 
It's not getting a lot of talk up here. But I need to least mention it.

Last game is on Thursday. And that fucking sucks.

I will try to go to some games here in Sacramento. But it's not the same.

Would like to think if Pop were still here we would have probably went to a game over the weekend.

They are changing the grass to turf here. No idea why.

Fisher sent out a letter. This guy called bullshit on it.

Apparently everyone here is over it.

I guess I'm not. Lots of emotion.

Not just the A's or the Raiders. What about Day on the Green? Anyone.

It sucks. Lot of people are over it because of the politics and bullshit.

It will all be over soon enough.

Can't wait to see what they end up doing there.
