Game of Fucking Thrones *SPOILERS*

The first few seasons are the best so if you're not feeling it pretty soon it's probably just not your cup of tea.
It's good thus far, just not blown away like I thought I would be.

I could see that. You're almost bound to be a little disappointed watching after the fact considering the hype it's generated over the years.

Two more episodes until we get the big reveal: The Night King faked his death, grew a beard, and found work as a lumberjack.

I'm standing by this prediction. It's probably no worse than what "Dumb & Dumber" have in store for us. Like, I dunno. Dany forfeits the throne to become a Starbucks barista.

So this season is basically an introductory episode and then one episode each to wrap up every story arc they've been building for 7 seasons? Fantastic. Cersie, one of the great villains of this era had, what, 30 lines this entire season? GOT, I love you but I hate you.

Am I the only one that though Arya was dead though seeing that horse? I half expected Ned to reach down and pull her on.

Gotta be Jon or Tyrion. Or, it wouldn't be the most unGOT thing to let her live on some sort of cryptic full circle thing.
Jon would make a lot of sense too. Being torn because he loves her but knows it's the right thing to do... yeah. Arya is going to try at least though. Perhaps Arya and Jon get into it as Jon tries to protect Danny.

Such a slow boring start. Then straight murder for 30 minutes...

All that talk about “not being like our fathers” only to turn out to be worse.

If Cersei is dead talk about the most unsatisfying death I’ve ever seen on the show.

Looks like Varyss was correct in his thinking.

Jon or Arya gonna end the “mad queen” next week I guess *yawn.

All these “smart” people are suddenly idiots who turn to blind faith, shitty.

Wonder where Sansa fits in next week?

I’m with @gst8 this is kinda shitty. Still gonna watch but what looked like a really good climax has gone to shit since “the long night”.[/SPOILER

I think Jon is over it. His “fuck I was wrong” face for a stoic 20 minutes kinda gives it away.

First time we see Dany this week, she looks like she's been locked in her room smoking crack for 72 hours straight.

It's a wrap. Dany's gon' snap. Mad Queen confirmed.

Fastforward through Drogon going Super Saiyan on everything that even looks like a crossbow.

Everyone: Hey, the bells are ringing. The battle is won. Snap averted?

Daenerys has entered the chat

Everyone: Dany! We won! :^

Daenerys has changed her user name to Danos The Mad Titan Queen

Everyone: :wtf1:

Danos The Mad Titan Queen has changed her status to "Daddy's Little Girl"

Everyone: :bugeye:

Tyrion: My Queen! It's over! Our enemies have lost!

Danos The Mad Titan Queen: I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless. Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now it's here. Or, should I say I am.

Am I the only one that didn’t give a fuck at all about the Euron Greyjoy/Jamie Lannister scene?

I gave a fuck only in the sense that it put that god awful portrayal of Euron to rest. Oberyn Tyrell/Sand Snakes level bad.

So apparently the prequel in the works is going to delve into the very beginnings of Westeros and the Night King, etc. I wonder if that’s the reason for the total cop out on his storyline this season.

The prequel has been out for months. It’s sitting on my nightstand and I’ll probably start it after this final episode.

As for the “remaining” books in the series, I doubt we’ll ever see them. Putting myself in his shoes, how satisfying would it be to write a story that everyone has a notion as to what the ending could be? Any book he releases now will have that Scooby Doo “alternate ending” feel to it, even though it would 100% be better done than the show has been.

Then again, putting myself in his shoes.... das a lot o’ fuckin’ money to leave on the table.
