Parker?

If Brandon Parker winds up on the final 53, that will be proof positive that the Silver and Black Scholarship is back.

If Parker is getting outplayed by guys his own age then cut him and put him on the PS.
No disagreement there... but if Roemer is showing any signs of outplaying Parker, he should get at least some snaps with the 2's as opposed to just 4th Q mop up duty against scrubs...

I posted an article a while back in which someone from the Seahawks organization, maybe even Schneider, comments about Cable being so involved in the OL personnel discussions to the point of refusing to coach players he doesn’t co-sign. If Parker was “his guy” then he’s making the team.

Any HC who would tolerate that kind of shit deserves whatever happens to them.

All teams have scholarship players and Parker at least fits the correct demographic. The S&B scholarship always went to veterans well past their upside window.

We have seen some shit play from Parker, we have also seen some decent/good play from him. We don't get to see practice every day, I'm not sure scholarship is in play here or not. I don't think there are other tackles on the roster that are so good that I would assume it either though.

Not surprised. Fuck him.

I think he had a lot of say in picking Miller and Parker. That’s just my opinion, but there’s no denying the fact that he can’t seem to coach these guys up. No coincidence that after he left Seattle, their OL was much improved and ours blew chunks.

That's true. But the problem is still that Parker (and Hall) were seriously overdrafted. Two small school guys and for a rebuilding team both were unnecessary risks. Anyone on this board would've picked better players. Once again, Red outsmarted himself. Right now anyone with one eye can see that the one eyed tackle (Sharpe) is better than Parker, who is atrocious. Hall has at least shown something and might develop. Cut Parker- no one is signing him. If you like him that much, put his ass on the practice squad or have Cable take him to dinner once a week.

Yah I brought this up in another thread. It speaks highly of Reds inability to evaluate talent when these guys are getting beat out by UDFA’s.
