*** Official not too soon 2024 draft thread***

Conley dropped further than he was projected.

Reggie gambled right in that his legal situation turned into a non-issue, he just missed that Conley would suck.

If I had to guess we probably didn't even scout him much thinking he would be gone by our pick and drafted him without much due diligence.

Stupid hat guy was a special type of retard though.
yet the very next pick was TJ Watt snd we needed a pass rusher.

We've had a rough stretch of 1st rounders. I liked Tyree but he was a consolation pick for me. Wanted Stroud badly.
Davante was a great 2022 first rounder
Leatherwood was... woof. premium guys were gone. better players were taken later. One of those situations where we needed to move and didnt.
Ruggs I liked, Arnette was WTF then and now - preferred Jeudy and Jefferson at those picks. Would have been happy with Ruggs/Jefferson or CeeDee/Jefferson
Cle Ferrell... another example of if thats your guy... move. Move up and take Bosa/Quinnen, take Ed Oliver there, Move down and take Wilkins or Ferrell Later... Woof. Jacobs I was happy with. Wanted sweat instead of abram but got poached. Would have taken Tillery or Byron Murphy I think.
Kolton was the pick I didnt like that worked out. Wanted McGlinchey if we took a T. Wanted Edmunds or James at our pick. Happy with Kolton.
Conley is as far back as I'll go. Wanted Reuben Foster something fierce. Peppers was one of my next big choices. Didnt think Conley was a 1st guy. Preferred Sidney Jones - who didnt end up much better. Obi instead of Zach Cunningham a pick later hurt more.

Didnt think Conley was a 1st guy.

Disappointed Bad News GIF by Vida

Couple of more days before we know if we are still the same old ass dumb Raiders making stupid ass picks or if we turned the corner? Time to update my avatar…

Lombardi put the Andy Dalton comp on Bo Nix ( GM shuffle podcast).

WRs don’t win championships

Commodores would be stupid to do this deal

They only do it if they really can't reconcile the differences with Daniels because I don't think they believe in Maye. Jefferson is arguably the best receiver in football, and then you get the other two picks.
