He got the stadium built too, and managed to keep it and his team out of the hands of some of the people helping fund it. That's all pretty impressive.
Tommy Boy has done well for himself, and improved the Raiders stadium and facilities. He doesn’t just have a world class NFL stadium. He has a world class venue in the heart of Vegas, where events will be held for the next 30-40 years.

Now the dipshit just needs to find a way to win. He needs that SB to cement his legacy as a winner. I truly think that’s all he cares about. Getting a ring to call his own.

Before winning a ring, the monkey on Steve Young’s back was named “the legacy of Joe Montana.” Imagine if it were “the legacy of Al Davis.”

Yeah, I 100% believe that Mark wants a Super Bowl win more than anything.

More than egg rolls at PF Changs? I don’t think do.

Kind of reminds me of when my kid wanted to be really good at basketball and then when I started him on the path of drills and practice and conditioning he didn't want to do it. Sure Mark wants to win. Is he capable? Does he put in the work required? doubtful

I'm loathe to stick up for the dummy but he spends the money and seems to stay out of the way to a reasonable extent. Finding the right administration is luck as much as anything IMO. Even the Ravens stumbled upon Ozzie Newsome when the dipshit Modell was still in charge. The new owners were just smart enough to not fix what wasn't broken. Jed York was a considered a joke until he got Lynch and Shannan and Lynch was looked at as a Millen, Mayock type WTF move at the time.

His results as an owner speak for themselves.

Wake me up when he builds a team worth a shit that gets to play in his fancy stadium.

Every poster here has watched shit football played by a bottom barrel franchise for 20+ years.

His new mansion looks cool though!

Just give me a top 10 QB that’s fun to watch and not a pussy… that’s all I ask.

I get the feeling that QB situation is why Mark was so furious and willing to blow it all up seemingly so suddenly... granted after epic immediate failure.

Initially I found it hard to believe these guys sold Mark on their ability to bring Brady in... turns out they oversold/never happened, stepped on their dicks handling david and team control of our only starting QB and found themselves with zero options at QB.

As absurd as it sounds I believe this all happened, and Mark was just like..."these mothefuckers, light at the end of the tunnel?.. we don't even know where the tunnel is!"

Especially after all the money he laid out, and he genuinely seemed excited about landing these lames... he must have felt like a complete asshole being duped by dudes doing stupid shit even he knows is ridiculous.

It also doomed McDoofus when Raiders legends mercilessly called him out.

Good riddance.

I have a feeling that Mark is more of an asshole than people think.

I think he's a good dude. I just remember when we went 4-12 every year and Al was amazing because he built a brand and a legacy and we have awesome jerseys and the best slogans.

Now we go 5-12 every year and its transitioned to Mark is great because he is nice to players and alumni and we have a new stadium (Filled with opposing fans most weeks).
