Supposedly the market for Fields is nil. If that's true, I'd offer a 6th. I mean, why the fuck not ? Really don't see the Bears just releasing him. That makes no sense. They're better off just squatting on him.

Gonna go against the crowd again and say it's a decent gamble. Still believe he can reach Hurts like status. Really not saying much I guess. I don't think Hurts is very good.

No Fields. He’s so good the Bears don’t want him and even worse no one is interested in him.

Have to think a little out of the box on this one.

I still want to draft a QB at 13....even if we trade for Fields. A 6th is a ham sandwich.

I know you love AO'C and unlike the rest of this board I'm not gonna clown on you for that.

Hey, I love AO'C too, it's just the lack of mobility that makes me severely doubt that he can ever be The Man.

Do I think Minshew is gonna be that guy ? Fuck no.

Doubt that Fields can be that guy either, but he sure as heck can run/scramble with the best of em.

I'm for taking 3 swings in this year's free agent/draft/trade market.

Keep swinging. Have to connect eventually on the game's most important position.

I've been wondering about that too. Might be worth it given the likely price, particularly if the price to get up to draft Daniels is as steep as I imagine it will be.

Media's been wrong on the Atlanta thing all off-season despite all of the information that they weren't interested, and now they've moved on to us. Fields probably doesn't get traded until draft day if somebody misses out on a QB and they just bring him in for a flyer for cheap as we get into the third day of the draft.
 
By the way, dude who said Jetsy is there, so ask him. I think the Minshew signing lets you know that AP did, and Luke said it's a no go dog. He's clearly been out there to be traded for, and nobody is interested. I mean most of us weren't happy about him being our OC hire, but it is what it is. He's here, so Fields not coming so that combination can get everybody fired.

Golden Tate also slugged the Midget the same year or the year after. He wasn’t well liked in the locker room. Lots of comments about Wilson not being black enough. That’s his teammates not me saying that stuff. So disagree all you want. You’re wrong and the Raiders are better off staying away from Wilson.

@Handicapper General, Miami losing Wilkins and Hunt, Bills and soon LAC having similar blood lettings, Saints still dealing with Payton’s awful contracts, Donks just eating $85M in dead cap, Raiders wasting all that money on C. Jones, drafting and salary cap management, after QB, are imperative to sustained winning in the NFL.

I'd like him back for both sentimental and practical - but not at what his current cap hit is. Rotating him with Koonce/Maxx/Wilson is a stocked house of pass rushers. Wilkins in the middle disrupting makes it even scarier.

But the cap/cash investment when we have other needs makes it hard to do.
