  • Philly just paid D. Smith $90M with $51M gauranteed
Would you trade Meyers and a pick to pay and pair Aiyuk with Adams?

why would i trade a guy and a pick for a worse guy? At best they are a push.

maybe its just me. I've never been a big Aiyuk fan. He's a weak 1 or a good 2. If we traded for a guy I prefer Higgins - who is similarly a weak 1 but good 2. But we've got a weak 1 good 2 in Meyers already.

Depends on your offense. If you're run heavy, he's a freaking lawnmower of a run blocker.
 
buncha people saying Aiyuk is better than Devonta Smith... I don't see it. Glad we arent the ones to pay him

sure. Meyers is a good blocker too. Meyers is better out of the slot. Not saying Aiyuk is a bad player. But I'm starting to think he's a vastly overrated one.

I'm just saying he becomes more or less important depending on the offense.

If I was KC, I wouldn't even bother. He's a perfect fit in SF though, and will probably be attractive to any team running a similar offense. I have a hunch SF wishes they could get out of Deebo's contract and give that money to Aiyuk instead.

We've also yet to see Meyers outside the NE offense too, to be fair. He may go full pumpkin on us this year.

possible. I think Meyers might do well "outside" of that offense.

Shanahan disciples have mixed production leaving that O too.
 
Reminds me of the Hunter Renfrow arguments from a few years back. Our guys are elite All world talents in the eyes of many.

Has he signed with the Memphis Battle Dragons yet?

He took time to develop for sure, but he's arrived and an absolute freak athletically.

Both their receivers are insane
