2020 Free Agent class + Legal Tampering

Key was chosen over Mayowa, which isn’t great either. Nassib was chosen over Maura, which is huge albeit expensive upgrade.

Yeah none of that really helps for me.

Yeah not a real big fan of that or Jeff Heath.

Ah well. We're just guys on an internet forum who don't know shit.
I like Nassib. Yep, overpaid, but we needed a legit 3 down DE. Mayowa was a pass rush specialist. Mauro was a run specialist. Crosby and Ferrell need to rotate, and we need depth if one of them gets hurt (or busts).

3 worst contracts:
  1. Jackson
  2. Joyner
  3. Ferrell

Unless we are eyeballing a FA DE or one in the draft....

Key really hasn’t done anything...

Paying Nassib 8 mil and letting Mayowa walk for peanuts doesnt seem great to me.

There was something going on with Mayowa. They say him out when he was among the league leaders in sacks and really never gave him the snaps you’d expect given his production.

Not a foundation piece like Carl Nassib.

He went on social media and bitched too. Something was happening behind the scenes. We weren't bringing him back and I doubt he wanted to. Kind of a Rashaan Melvin situation there.

Aldon Smith gets one year 4 mil. Would have never guessed he got back into the league.

Mayowa 3 mil
Any team giving Aldon Smith a 4M deal is like the dumbest shit I've ever heard. I can't imagine that ends well. Really hope the dude got some serious mental help these last 5 years and has stuck to it. He literally hasn't played a snap since halfway through the 2015 season.

ive never had such a feeling of either a train wreck signing or an absolute home run.

no middle ground. Either a full bargain all pro steal or he isn’t worth 1/10th that haha.
