That's certainly the hope.FIFY

Guy lasted what, two plays last time he came back from injury? Whoever goes after him better have a good backup plan in place. Maybe they can work a 3 way trade to get McGloin there as a package....lolThat's certainly the hope.
No they aren't contenders. Their OL stinks, Paradis the C is the only decent guy. The RT they signed last year Stephenson was bad. Okung won't get his contract option picked up. What FA LT are they gonna sign to keep Romo upright all year? Did everyone forget he's made of glass?Lynch looks awful for one. With that defense and a healthy Romo they are legit contenders again that's why. No reason he couldn't get Romo and work on shoring up the OL as well.
Can this guy coach defense? The Raiders, who apparently won’t be having to replace director of player personnel Joey Clinkscales this year, may already have an in-house substitute in mind, if/when someone else makes Clinkscales a General Manager.
The team has promoted midwest scout Trey Scott to the position of Assistant Director of Player Personnel. Scott, 28, has spent five prior seasons with the team. Before that, he worked for Washington.
Scott arrived in Oakland with Clinkscales and others in May 2012. Both are names to watch, especially if this year’s playoff berth from the Raiders is a sign of things to come.
Apparently Clinkscales might be a hot commodity after this season according to the articleCan this guy coach defense?
Calo dun pulled the post!TURRON DAVENPORT @TDavenport_NFL
Every time I go to an All Star game, I see Raleigh McKenzie. He's everywhere. There's a reason why Raiders have done so well in draft.
Oscar @oscar9704
@TDavenport_NFL Raleigh sure sleeps a lot. He played a role in many bad picks & was hired from teaching special ed kids b/c of #nepotism.

LOL
I like him as a player but Richard gives us everything McCaffery can do IMO.I wouldn't be upset if McCaffrey fell to us. Versatile all around back that would give Carr a big weapon.
You mean the "white" Faulk?
McCaffrey is 6' and 200 lbs...not a midget. The guy can lineup all over the field.
Think QB doesn't matter?
Super Bowl 51 with be the 13th time in the last 14 games that the AFC QB will either be Ben, Brady or Peyton.
Thanks but I don't drink Zima...
So one could say the Jags Called Tyrone?Jaguars hire Tyrone Wheatley as running backs coach
Posted by Zac Jackson on January 16, 2017, 8:20 PM EST
The Jaguars have announced the hiring on Tyrone Wheatley as their new running backs coach.
Wheatley previously coached under new Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone in the college ranks and with the Bills.
Wheatley, 44, had a 10-year career as an NFL running back with the Giants and Raiders. He’s spent the last two seasons as running backs coach at his alma mater, Michigan.
“I am excited to have Tyrone join our staff and work with our running backs,” Marrone said in a statement. “I have worked with him for five years and know the type of leader and teacher that he is. He is an exceptional coach and will bring out the best in his players. He brings a charisma, attitude and Super Bowl-playing experience to the staff that will be vital.”
The Jaguars reportedly interviewed Chip Kelly for their offensive coordinator job on Monday.
