he's set to make $24.7 M next year... I don't think anyone is trading for that. Not unless there's some restructuring.

I'm guessing Romo will restructure to play for Horseface, and a chance to start for a contender before he's washed-up.

Him and Elliot are the best two RB's I've seen in college since AP. And Cook is tuned for this offense. I was in love before the UM bowl game. I'm in lust now. The guy is fucking amazing. Let Murray walk and run him with our midget duo and it would be a nightmare to defend us.

Wanna get Cooper to be more lethal? Make the run game and RB pass game a viable threat. It would be a win win move. A move that we are ready to make. This isn't a rebuild move. It's a statement, nuts on the table move. And IMO the perfect move. Give Carr, this offense, this team, a fuckin NASCAR out of the back field.

i'm not sure about the particulars... maybe @Mach ? looks like a big cap hit for Dallas no matter what they do...

Kinda like Elliott would have been a great pick for us last year... this isn't happening. He'll be long gone and we aren't trading up.

He would have been. But the fact that you got the LSU kid above him, and the fact that we are not coming off 7-9.....we have a shot......if a trade up is gonna happen, strike now. He's gonna fall a bit due to these Edge rushers and CB's. More valuable positions....it's possible I think. Without a complete 30 year mortgage.

I like Cook a lot as well but, there are just too many good backs in this draft to move up for one. He might just fall for that same reason. I think him and Fournette are above everyone else but, the gap isn't as big as one would think. Some real talented runners in this draft. Best RB class in years. Could end up being best ever.
 
I wouldn't be upset if McCaffrey fell to us. Versatile all around back that would give Carr a big weapon.

We must've posted at the same time. That's the guy I'm thinking of. Is he an Edelman (or other small white guy that played for NE) type?

I think a little bigger like over 2 billss. He's a RB that catches a lot of balls out of back field and lined up as a slot wr.
