Now we are talking; low 4th is good value: http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/356730/4th-rounder-the-price-for-Sheldon-Richardson?
Especially since he's in a contract year. I'd pull the trigger on that.
Yea I'd gamble the 4th rounder on one year of Richardson. Resign next year if he works out.
Not interested in giving a high pick for a 29 year old corner with an attitude. Plus there isn't any corner worth $14 million. Seattle thinking the same thing. It's a no brainer as long as Red can finagle the cap. Much better than giving a high draft pick to Seattle for Sherman. Can draft LB and DB with the first three picks then.

YepApparently he wants 100 million, has off the field shit, some injury concerns and coming off a bad year. So the Jets dont have a ton of leverage. He is gone and they likely are ok with a comp pick. Maybe you trade for him and then collect your comp pick to replace the one you spend if he doesnt re-sign.
AKA
trade a 4th, 1 year rental, doesnt work out, get a comp pick
NYG's back-up plan. Red's still not in the game.Considering the gaping hole at DT, Id use a 4th on Richardson. Do it Reggie.
I still wonder why Odrick hasn't had any sniffs? He should be able to give a team some solid snaps.
