Other NFL Games (2020)

Fans are so moronic.

Unless this changes quickly, there will be a strong outcry from many Steelers fans to fire Mike Tomlin. Art Rooney won’t do it, but the outcry will come.

That's Florio's thing. It's like when he went on and on about how the Rams had to cut Gurley. It's quite bizarre.

If McDermott doesn't win a Super Bowl while this window is wide open for the Bills the next couple of years, he'll be saying stupid shit about they need to move on when the franchise has been irrelevant for 25 years. Seems like he likes to try to be part of the news cycle instead of just reporting on it.

That's the root of PFT. It's gone mainstream and has cleaned up its act quite a bit, but the DNA of PFT is as a TMZ for football. At one point 9 out of 10 things you read on PFT were patently false.

So over saturation weekend is over. By By Steelers

It was fine when it was just him in his basement rumor mongering and passing along what people in the league was telling him.

Today, it's something different. You have a huge media conglomerate backing you, you're on NBC's Sunday Night Football, and you have a daily national radio and TV show to boot I think.

It doesn't seem to come from those places of I heard this from people in the league like it did back in the early 2000s. It's I'm Florio. Let me shake some shit up with my take.

I actually don't mind Florio these days. Most of the major networks and sites rarely criticize the league the way he does. I don't agree with a lot of his takes but he takes it to Goodell and owners quite a bit, and so does LaCanfora at CBSSports. They don't hold back and it's good to see.

Florio just sounds like a bitch the majority of the time. Like Mike Silver or Lowell Cohn.

I don't hate him. I hate those other guys.

That he's revealed himself in recent years as a long time Viking fan has made some things make sense though.

Jared’s cashing in playoff checks!

It appeared that Veldheer’s 2020 season ended with the Indianapolis Colts in a loss at the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. Yet, two days later, Veldheer signed with the Green Bay Packers and can play Saturday in the NFC divisional round against the Los Angeles Rams. ESPN reported on Monday that offensive tackle Jared Veldheer will be the first (and likely only ever) NFL player to play for two teams in the same postseason.
