Texans Week

Denver's suspect offense had its way with the Raiders defense. That's a troubling sign heading into playoffs ||

@Sleet

Fwiw, I see we've been reslotted from the 30th pick to the 28th.

A week from now, if we lose, we'll be locked into our draft slot. It's entirely too 2:30am for me to even attempt to work through possibilities through bloodshot eyes, so...I'm riding with the 28th overall pick until we're out of the tournament and we're officially locked into a slot.

Top Sack Duos in the playoffs:

1. @cliffavril & @TheRealFrankC_ 21.5
2. Beasley (15.5) & Clayborn (4.5) 20.0
3. Mack & Irvin 18.0

Don't go. Why the fuck would you subject yourself to the shit show we're gonna trot out on both sides of the ball? We couldn't beat a non-playoff team, with nothing to play for, with a decimated roster. This team has quit. They allowed themselves to get punked, raped and humiliated.
This.

Don't do it man.

I've warned people before and most times going is a bad idea. In fact going to road games is a horrible idea. It's ba enough when you go to a game and lose at home,e. One the road it's just the worst thing on earth.

We're going to get our shit pushed in. We have no chance of winning a playoff game on the road with either of those fools at QB.

I'll admit that I didn't see much of Cook as CBS switched over, but his throws looked really good. How bad was the INT? Was it his fault or was it the receivers? I didn't see the TD either. Good throw or more of an effort from Cooper?

good throw against tight coverage, but Cooper turned a 1st and goal play into a td after the catch.

To run this offense with this roster you need velocity. With no real practice with the 1's or 2's and playing time cook out played Mcgloin. just like Carr in his rookie year he had an immediate understanding of the playbook(obviously wasn't perfect execution all around but understood it). I think his tools and need to win are important intangibles and I hope we are not concerned with hurting McGloins feelings on this.

I can't get mad. I'd feel pretty icky about that type of loss myself.

Denver was stacking 9 at times and MM wasn't hitting the 1 on 1's...even before the injury. True they have a great D but if your an NFL , you hit that shot to Cooper and tie the game at 7.

Why was CBS spotlighting Crick's hit on MM as play of the game? A personal foul QB injury was play of the game?

And he overshot Cooper by ten yards. That throw wasn't even close.

@RapSheet Source: #Raiders are flying in FA QB Garrett Gilbert and he’s expected to sign on their practice squad. Could be active later this week

Connor had first round ability and fell far enough for us to reach out and get him in the draft. The decision was made to bring him along slowly and set him his first year. Now we are expecting him to make his first start as an unprepared rookie in a playoff game with a team that has quit.
Not feeling this at all.

So what is it picks 21-24 will be determined this weekend. Then 25-28 the following weekend. Then 29 and 30, then 31 and 32. So we probably end up with 24 when eliminated this weekend. If we go on it can be a bit more convoluted. And I am not trying to figure that all out. But it would seem as though unless NE, Dallas, or KC lost we would be stuck with 28. Each one of those teams would drop loosing would drop us one spot lower. But that is unlikely to happen because having KC and NE go out in the same round would mean that we won against one of them.

Bottom line we picking 24 or 28 maybe just maybe 27. The way I see it, we are not winning with Cookie the Rookie (thanks stepper). So start your mocks now with pick 24 in mind.
