Other teams offseason moves

So if Allen leads the Bills to the AFCC game, then what? Would he still be trash or would it be because they built a really good roster?

If a Bortles-led Jaguars team can get to the AFCC game (and nearly knock the Patriots out), then I don't think we can draw any conclusions from Allen getting to the AFCC game.

You did something as a QB if you get that far. He definitely benefits from his roster but I think he makes the plays he needs to make. You have to know who you are as a player and contribute the best way you can. Allen knows he isn't lighting anybody up with his arm so he needs to put his body at risk a little more than the tier 1 guys. Just like elite WRs get away with alligator arming a pass across the middle or Deon Sanders being so good at coverage that he couldn't be bothered to tackle. Show that you're so great at shredding defenses with your arm and I'll be the first one to be yelling to slide or throw the ball away. Conversely if you're not doing that you better find other ways to make it happen.

Flacco signs with the Jets. Giving them a vet backup.

The difference to me lies more in their college years. Steve McNair had one of the all-time great college QB careers. So, while he had a slow start to the NFL career, I think there was some confidence b/c he had thrown the ball at a high level before. In contrast, Allen’s never completed over 60% of his passes even in college.

cool article.

Tommy Frazier highlights are the real deal..

“Chargers have fallen $300M short of projected $400M PSL sales. They pointed to COVID-19, but this problem was years in the making. It’s like the Rams are on a bike built for 2, & at the base of a huge hill. Now, they have to do almost all the pedaling.”

The NFL completely botched the whole LA thing. Biggest fuck up that doesn’t get enough media attention. Couldn’t have happened to a better bunch of stubborn dumbfucks!

The Rams will plod along with second rate support. I don’t know a passionate Rams fan. But I don’t know how the Dolts recover, especially with Spanos’ cheap-ass at the helm. They have shit support and even winning won’t do much to change that.

Only Rams fans I know are ex Charger fans that switched out of spite and a couple of St. Louis transplants that have given them the stiff arm.
