*Official 2016 Raiders FA Th"RED"

Weird? In 2016, when everyone was clamoring for Sean Smith or Janoris Jenkins, I was banging the table for Casey Hayward!

You da man. He's been a pleasant surprise that ...why the fuck was he just out there to be grabbed?

Back then I think Green Bay just didn’t have the cap to offer a competitive offer so they let him hit free agency. Now? Age and injuries.

Crap?? Good for us; he’s been a legitimate cb1. From the way he’s played this year it’s pretty clear that the injury was why his play fell off last season and not due to just waking up old.
yep we got a steal with that one. Thank god too because Arnette is both dumb and bad at football.

Didn't he get injured against the Steelers and force Arnette to play?

I just don't see the light going on for this guy. Arguably the worst corner on this roster. If he wasn't a #1 pick, I wonder if he even makes the team. As soon as he went in the game, he surrenders a huge play to The Frog Brigade.

The lightbulb may yet come on for Damon Arnette, but the filament is gonna flicker for awhile.

G.

What filament ? Dimmy is one of those new energy saving bulbs. They aren't as bright and don't emit as much light. They're also toxic and need to be disposed of carefully.

Arnette made a real nice play man-on-man on Claypool, an imposing receiver. Yes, he got beat deep, but that pass defense was a real nice play.

Arnette looked decent in preseason. I'm not counting on him but if Abram can look like an NFL player anything is possible I guess.

I think the defense should improve as the year goes on. It takes time to gel as a unit no matter how easy the system is to learn. I fucking hate being optimistic.

Agreed. Defense should improve as long as injuries are held at bay.

Hope the offensive line can gel as well.
