There's actually a lot more going on here than the media is reporting. The protests erupted after people who were sealed in their apartments died from a fire. This article says 10 people died. I heard it was a lot more (75) with a couple hundred injured. Part of the problem was that the fireman could't get to the fire right away. As part of the lockdown, the apartment was also barricaded. Then, cars that had sat for months were around the apartment and couldn't be started or moved easily.

These protests are no small thing. People in China do not protest. They know it is a death sentence after Tiananmen Square.

I listened to an interview by a former Chinese citizen who covers the CCP over the weekend. Sorry, I can't find the link now.

Archaeologists uncover pyramid of previously unknown Egyptian queen

Archaeologists in Egypt uncovered the pyramid of a previously unknown queen, containing coffins, mummies and other artifacts, as well as several tunnels, Live Science reported last week.

The researchers, including Egyptologist and former Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass, discovered that the queen's name was Neith.

"She had never before been known from the historical record," Hawass said. "It is amazing to literally rewrite what we know of history, adding a new queen to our records."

The artifacts were found at Saqqara, an excavation site in Giza.

Researchers recently discovered several coffins and mummies at this location that could belong to top advisers and generals of King Tutankhamun.
