MNF Thread (Wreck the Neck)

Pryor making progress- get him a better line and some weapons. Not ashamed by this outing at all.
I agree. Pryor did fine, and much better than I thought he would. Moore woke up. Streater and butler battled. The two guards are crap, and the big reason the running game stalled. The back up DTs are crap. Both are practice squad guys masquerading as NFL players. Hayden had a rough go but all this pt will help in the long run. Need to get some guys back soon. But, despite the score there were some positives. Raiders out scored them in the second half and didn't quit and even sacked manning.

Like you said, baby steps.

Porter was friendly fire...#99

Tracy Porter got two knees to the head on that play in quick succession. The first came from the Denver receiver. the second came from a Raiders. Lamarr Houston, I think.

^^Nope not worth the risk.

Can't go throwing away draft picks on 2 strikers.

Yes he did and in a pass only situation with sometimes questionable playcalling and though this Greg is a vastly better OC then the last he called some bad ones on third down. 2 yard Checkdown on third and ten is KnappDumb.

Thought Pryor showed something tonight for sure. He seems to still be improving his game. He needs to learn to stick those short throws low tho.

McFadden had nowhere to run, this OL is putrid. Still could use a weapon at WR. Everyone we have is just solid. I do think Streater is a keeper tho.

I wont mention the defense. They looked lost.

I'm still of the same opinion on Pryor in that he gives us the best chance to win. His accuracy has looked good for the most part. Sometimes he's a little late with his throws but that should get better with experience. Still think he has a bright future. Getting Veldheer back is going to help everybody out. And Menelik very well could improve us, too.

Getting Veldy or Watson back and shifting Barnes inside will help. Brisel and Gurode were putrid today. Really need an upgrade at both G positions.

And maybe at center too- Maybe Wiz will look better with quality guards next to him but he hasn't impressed either

Didnt Wiz start as a guard? If so why not possibly get a center and kick him back to guard. As i recall he was solid at guard when he was there. If i am recalling this correctly that is

Wiz will be fine at the pivot once we get some compotent gaurds.

Ive said this since early last year...he was better as a guard and probably is where he should be. We should draft a stud C or go after Mack in free agency, get another guard, and roll with it.

Those nfc east games dont look so tough now, he hung 41 on the giants and figures to hang 60 on the eagles
