Ive has enough of this piece of shit. Fire him now and elevate some underling to call the defense the rest of the year. If the Falcons HC is fired mid season, hire him as a consultant for the rest of the year with the understanding that he’s got the job in 2020.

And go right back to that 4-3 under scheme that is the opposite of the scheme the Raiders are using?
 
I’m actually surprised we didn’t have a Guenther thread already.

Fuck this guy though. Even the computer on Madden eventually adjusts to me spamming the same play every snap.

Maybe he needs to bump up to all-Madden to come up with his game plans.
 
This guy is useless. We couldn’t stop a team with two backup tackles and one WR. One stop in second half and we probably won that game. I’d wait and see who shakes loose next year and get a real coordinator here. He’s probably the reason we drafted that useless sack of shit Ferrell.

It’s not the scheme it’s the ability to get players to perform within the scheme and adjust to what the offense is doing.
 
To rub salt in the wound Conley...a guy we couldn't figure out how to use...makes a great defensive play on the last drive to win the game.
 
He’s gonna have to bench Joyner to save his job.

He just keeps getting toasted. Keeps getting lost in zone.

Not a whole lot he can do at LB. Whitehead just needs upgraded from. I could see him getting cut and brought back in a lesser role for less money this off season.

This thread is a long time coming. Guenther needs to go. He flat out sucks cock.
 
I don't think Gruden's very happy with Guenther either so he might look elsewhere in the offseason. One way or another we need more pass rushers, another LB, and probably another CB out there. The defense is still bottom tier in talent.
 
I just don’t need know what guenther is even trying to do. He has man corners playing zone on every key play. He has LBs responsible for the best WR in the game. He blitzed the midget against Rodgers from 20 yards deep. On play after play, guys are running wide open. He’s given up more 90 yard drives than any other team in same period. Dude sucks. If we don’t put up 30 we lose every game.

Maybe Fangio gets canned and we try to bring him in. I'm not sure what other DC candidates would be out there but it'd be nice to get a Wade Phillips/Fangio/Crennel type instead of a middle of the road type like Guenther.
