Derek Carr In His Spare Time...

Well, according to FO Carr was the #7 QB this year, while according to BSBN's QBR, he was the #16 QB. Perhaps Downing will raise Carr's QBR next year. :chuckle:

Carr's WR targets ended up #13 (Cooper), #18 (Crabby) and #83 (Roberts). Plenty of room for improvement at #1 and #3 WR, and Crabby needs to drop fewer balls.

Carr's TE targets ended up #22 (Rivera), Walford (#27). Even more room for improvement at TE.

Carr's RB targets ended up #37 (Murray) and Richard (#41). The Midgets split receptions with Murray and themselves.

Even with a bad last game, Carr's OL ended up #1 in terms of sacks given up. Love to invest in a stud OT to play RT then transition to LT when Penn calls it quits.

DC for COY.
Name me any HOF HC without a HOF QB, and I'll list plenty more with one. Garrett also had a stud RB and stud DC. Guess that makes him even less deserving.

Only one of those guys shit his pants after his starting QB went down...

Yes.

Garrett lost his starting QB and went 13-4.

Taco lost his starting QB and shit his pants.
Yaa, cause McGloin was such a stud and the Raider's rookie QB got his first start in a playoff game. I guess that's Jack (choppin' wood) Del Rio stainin' his shorts.

Garrett played with a rookie QB, no?

Who got to play a full season with a great running back, o-line and a much better defense. How'd that rookie do come playoff time?

Sounds like you're saying Prescott got to play for a better coached team... :coffee:
