FWIW, apparently Texas A&M going hard after Jimbo

We'll see if Stanford can't keep it up against the Catholics.
Hell yea. What a win. Go Cardinal!

yeah what the hell was that, good game turned into an ass whooping. I’m just glad my boy Ian Book got in for a few plays.
My boy Bryce Love woke up in the 2nd half that's what happened. As conservative as Shaw can be at times he really is a great coach.

Yeah, we've been hearing that rumor for a couple of months because he's let things become a mess with those coaches he has, namely the offensive line coach and DC, and it might be easier for him to leave now rather than fire them.

Then there is the embarrassing aspect of his still being in Tallahassee, which is pretty small, where everyone knows his ex-wife was getting dicked up by a former Gator player that led to your divorce, and a much younger guy to boot. It might have him a bit distracted in the local market to where a fresh start with people who could write similar checks with a similar talent-rich recruiting base without all of the scrutiny he would have gotten going to LSU where they are crazy as Florida fans might be a good option because he does know the AD.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing him go now because no coach ever has gotten it back on track once they let this happen, and I have no reason to think Jimbo will somehow be the first exception to the rule. This might just allow everyone to rip the Band-Aid off right now and part as friends. I know the AD will make a good hire because they always do in all sports. Watch them then hire Lane Kiffin and then I'm here saying FML for the next 4 years, lol.

Probably going to see Scott Frost going to Nebraska....

Will be a mistake for him if he does. Nebraska's problem is that they lost the ability to recruit TX naturally when they switched conferences. Will continue to struggle in comparison with the past regardless of who is coach. Their fans might want to come to grips with this.

Mullin at Florida does not bother me. Meh hire like when they got McElwain.

Schiano to Tennessee despite another media flunky throwing Gruden's name out there like that would ever happen. A pretty good hire if he can recruit that state, which is a bit perplexing for people. But assuming he can do that, he should do well there because they need someone who can develop players and run a professional level program instead of the nonsense they've been doing since that asinine hire of Kiffin.

The University of Tennessee is again interested in hiring former Super Bowl-winning coach Jon Gruden as its next head coach, sources said, reaching out to the current broadcaster to explore his interest in the job. Sources said school officials have discussed the matter with him, with Gruden a top target for the Volunteers.

Part of securing Gruden for the position would include luring former Volunteers quarterback Tee Martin back to Tennessee to serve as a chief recruiter for Gruden, according to sources, and the deal, if reached, would be worth upwards of $10M per season for Gruden, with another $8M per season reserved for the salaries of his staff. Gruden has resisted the urge to coach in college in the past and some close to him believe he would prefer to land an NFL job if he is to return to coaching, but the Tennessee job has a particular allure to him, according to some close to Gruden, and his wife was a former cheerleader at the school.

There's fans protesting the Schiano hiring. Looked like quite a few. An ESPN analyst said he'd never backlash this bad on a new coach.

$10MM a year for Gruden in Tennessee? Dayum.

That's a lot of cheese. But Gruden is probably making $7MM doing MNF with no stress and little responsibility. I'd say he's found the life of milk and honey. Throw that away to get back in the. coaching rat race? Whatever.

BSPN exaggerating but it looks like they are backing out on him. It's funny that people are heaping the pedophile scandal at Penn State on him though when dude was like a GA or some shit back then, and outside of that McQueary dude, no one else is like Schiano knew about it. He's a piece of shit person seems like, but that seems a bit unfair to his career to have this hanging over him over speculation and innuendo.

That same dumb shit he was saying when he was using Miami to put his name in the news cycle. Gruden is never going to an 18-year-old kid's house to beg them to play for him at a secondary school like Tennessee. Hell, he wouldn't do it at a place where he could get players without working hard, so he sure isn't doing it at a place like that. When Hue gets fired, they could try him. I always thought he'd fit in college better as an HC than the pros anyway, but don't know about him in the SEC.
