As someone said, he is the most underrated overrated player ever.
Welcome back sunshine.Baker seems like he was born to be a Raider. I'd take a chance on him and draft Rattler later in the draft.
Those two personalities combined should be great for the lockerroom.Baker seems like he was born to be a Raider. I'd take a chance on him and draft Rattler later in the draft.
Haha I like that.
Worst thread… so far…
I’d rather sign neither and draft a QB. And if the rookie needs to be on the bench for a year, roll with and take our lumps with AO’C under center because you’re fooling yourself if you think Baker or the Fat Midget are going to do much better.I like Baker but I'd rather sign Russ at a vet minimum deal and use that extra scratch to keep the defensive band together by resigning Koonce, Moehrig, Jones, Diablo etc.
You can't be serious...roll with and take our lumps with AO’C under center because you’re fooling yourself if you think Baker or the Fat Midget are going to do much better.
Adams approves this post. You can't be serious...
Both guys are massive upgrades to AO’C lolI’d rather sign neither and draft a QB. And if the rookie needs to be on the bench for a year, roll with and take our lumps with AO’C under center because you’re fooling yourself if you think Baker or the Fat Midget are going to do much better.
Even if neither played well, they'd still be upgrades. The only question is whether they're potentially good enough to justify paying them market value. Would either be a significant enough upgrade to elevate the team to playoff contender? Both guys are massive upgrades to AO’C lol
How are most 40/yr contracts structured?Okay, so this is the problem with APY.
QB A and B both get 4/160 year deals.
A's structure is 25/45/45/45 with only the 1st year guaranteed
B's structure is 40/40/40/40 with 3 years guaranteed
They're not the same.
there is no standard, that's the thing. Look at this:How are most 40/yr contracts structured?
Matt Stafford | QB | Rams | $160,000,000 | $40,000,000 | $63,000,000 | $15,750,000 | 39.4% |
Dak Prescott | QB | Cowboys | $160,000,000 | $40,000,000 | $95,000,000 | $23,750,000 | 59.4% |
Daniel Jones | QB | Giants | $160,000,000 | $40,000,000 | $81,000,000 | $20,250,000 | 50.6% |
What would you expect this year's FA QB contracts to look like? Mayfield & #YouLikeThat are probably at the top of the list, eh?there is no standard, that's the thing. Look at this:
Matt Stafford QB Rams $160,000,000 $40,000,000 $63,000,000 $15,750,000 39.4% Dak Prescott QB Cowboys $160,000,000 $40,000,000 $95,000,000 $23,750,000 59.4% Daniel Jones QB Giants $160,000,000 $40,000,000 $81,000,000 $20,250,000 50.6%
