2021 Mock Draft Thread

No not at all.

I literally saw Kiper mock him to us at 17 yesterday.

Most of those mock draft simulators are like that too.
 
I want RT, guard, safety in top three rounds. I don't want tunnel vision on Bama or Clemson players either. Now if Leatherwood is our second round pick, i probably will be happy, but just want to come out of this with those three positions.

We won't look at a guard until Day 3, if at all, imo. Incognito & Good are both back, with Simpson in reserve. After the two moves made at center (such as they are), the interior OL is likely set. A 4th guard isn't something to look for on Day 2.

I can see that. I just don't see Incognito playing 16 games, or even half that.

Richie's on a 1 year deal. Good's signed for 2 years. Simpson & James are both unproven. We absolutely should grab an interior guy to groom for a year or two. Will we? Only Gruden knows for sure. Horrifying, eh?

Yeah @PDX Raider has the 3 positions on my radar dead on too. I assume most fans are in the same boat. I want RT/S/IOL and actually a IDL.

But I wouldnt pass on a premium I had ranked way up there to fill those needs in round 1 or 2. Maybe a little later I start plugging holes.

I really like the Teven Jenkins reports and the shit on youtube though. This could be a year where needs and talent merge into a perfect fit for us.

Interior DL is as much a need now as ever. It probably got pushed down the list, though.

I still want Alim McNeill.

Yeah I think general Raider fan is dumb.

Signing Darius Philon, Matt Dickerson, David Irving, Jon Hankins and Solomon Thomas to 1 year deals did not fix the issue in the short term or long term.

Throwing a bunch of mediocre bodies at a problem typically doesnt work out.

It should still be high up on our needs list, but Gruden and Mayock are morons.
 
I'd say RT and FS are glaring needs. We will have options at 17 to fill the RT need. Just take the best tackle on board and shore up that position. From what i've read FS is a weaker position but there will be options in Rounds 2-3. But I do think there will be better players at other positions particularly in Round 3. Given this brain trust's track records I just don't know how they'll play it.

Strong OLB class. Give me one of those plus a stud FS and RT. Very nice.
