Comparing, on paper, the Raiders’ skill position players before the Mack trade, Cooper’s pouting, and Bryant’s flop to the team, now, makes me think Trent Brown might be are most important addition. However, given how poorly Cooper and Bryant played, and Lynch’s injury, AB, Williams and Jacobs should more than offset the loss of Cook, J. Nelson and Lynch:@CarrHaters
With this offense and Carr.. were not gonna punt much anyways-

However, given how poorly Cooper and Bryant played, and Lynch’s injury, AB, Williams and Jacobs should more than offset the loss of Cook, J. Nelson and Lynch:
WR: AB v. Cooper
WR: Williams v. Bryant
WR: Grant/Renfrow/Nelson v. J. Nelson
Y-TE: Cook v. Waller
B-TE: Willson/Moreau v. L. Smith
RB: Jacobs v. Lynch
Unless someone unexpectedly steps up, huge hole at TE tho... still don’t really understand not resigning Cook. Tall order for anyone currently on this roster to come close to filling his shoes.Comparing, on paper, the Raiders’ skill position players before the Mack trade, Cooper’s pouting, and Bryant’s flop to the team, now, makes me think Trent Brown might be are most important addition. Agreed. Had we signed Cook to a two-year deal for $15M ($8M guaranteed), we would still have $12M in post-rookie cap space. Sad, really, but perhaps Waller is a baller!Unless someone unexpectedly steps up, huge hole at TE tho... still don’t really understand not resigning Cook. What will have the most impact on O?I'll buy that when I see it on the field. Miller going to have to take a huge step forward, Carr is going to have to play much better, a rookie RB is going to have to pan out, someone needs to step up at TE. The makings are there but putting it all together is another story.
The O-line has to perform at a high level or we’ll suck again. Carr isn’t the type of QB that can work around that. What will have the most impact on O?
IMO, it will be Carr’s execution, Gruden’s scheming AB, Jacobs, Waller, etc. and Cable’s OL’s blocking. And it’s the third one that troubles me most, which is why I want Richie (a vet less likely to suck under Cable).

Which is why, in terms of one-year rentals, I would be fine with Richie/Waller over Good/Cook.The O-line has to perform at a high level or we’ll suck again. Carr isn’t the type of QB that can work around that.
Damn homers!I sure wish the Carr haters would stop finding ways to shoehorn him into every thread. They can't help themselves. They just keep bringing him up.
Carrtarded ass.

I've said it before but I really just don't think Gruden values receiving TEs all that much. He'd rather run 3WR sets with a blocking TE in to help the tackles. After bringing in AB/Tyrel Williams/Ryan Grant/JJ Nelson I'm guessing he figured he was filling that production and some plus can run with a cheaper TE (Moreau/Waller/Carrier) that can stay in and help the OL.Unless someone unexpectedly steps up, huge hole at TE tho... still don’t really understand not resigning Cook. Can I bring King to camp but remain uptight and white?
I think that’s right. Would like to spend the money saved on Cook on Richie at LG. (Pound drum)I've said it before but I really just don't think Gruden values receiving TEs all that much.
