I give this thing a solid B with the prospects of a B+.

Who's gonna be the absolute stud of this draft?

Have we found 3 starters in the bunch? I'm looking forward to seeing Ferrell dominate and cause all sorts of havoc.

B.

Too many holes to fill to get an A. Front 7 is still scary.

I give it a B, B minus. Odd draft. Unlike most drafts there aren’t any picks I really hate. Last year I hated damn near all of them. I like the the players but this year either didn’t like where we got them or in a few instances wanted other guys. But it’s clear mayock and Gruden wanted productive high floor guys going into LV. Mayock did fine for a first draft.

B under the pretense of them looking like they knew what they wanted and did their homework.

C+ under the pretense of them being so safe that they nailed only one potential franchise player in the first 2 rounds. A lot of likely to do well pieces though.

I kinda wonder though...how many DBs do we need right now?

Welp...we got a couple more!

D
Should have been able to fix the pass rush, they didn't get it done with three picks in round one and an early 2. Mayock and Gruden put their heads together and managed to screw the pooch on the teams biggest need.

Farrell C+, I like the player. Great fit. After Bosa the best scheme fit at 4-3 DE that is good against the run and pass. Would have liked a trade down. Judging my how many times we did that later, I firmly believe Mayock tried to.

Jacobs A, The only thing keeping it from an A+ for me are simply the lack of deep speed Jacobs has. Great player, great fit. OROTY candidate.

Abraham B, top rated S on a lot of boards. Similar talents at other positions of need still on board. Player who plays with toughness and still has upside/potential to improve.

Mullen B+, run on CB’s started in round 2, I figured we would nab Ya-Sin or this guy. Great size/speed/experience, should push to start right away. Solid pick.

Crosby B, Maxx a little raw, little physically underdeveloped but has decent upside and DE was a huge position of need. May not see the field much in 2019. Little bit early which keeps me from going B+ or higher.

Johnson B+, Has a chance to be better than Mullen. Very talented athlete coming from a school that has had CB’s become successful players in the NFL. Long limbed speedster with a lot of upside. Back end got faster with this pick.

Moreau, A- Solid two way TE prospect with good size, decent production and experience in a tough conference. Has a chance to earn a starting job. Solid pick at a position of need.

Renfrow B, At first I thought it was a tad high. Then I think of how different the Rams looked with and without Cooper Kupp in the playoffs last year. Renfrow has been sneaky good against top competition in big games.

Bell B, Has some H/W/S going for him. Raw. Probably get a look on ST’s and maybe he offers some pass rush in blitz packages if he can stick. Decent upside at a position of need. Likely we didn’t want to miss out in UDFA with him.

Overall grade B+. I think every player we drafted has a chance to stick on the roster. Ferrell, Abraham, Jacobs are immediate starters. Jacobs could become a household name overnight in this offense and that not a homer take.

Johnson and Moreau have an outside chance to start but should see snaps. Renfrow could be a starter in the slot. Crosby could surprise and see some sub package snaps.

Little bit of a reach with Ferrell, but with as many times as we did trade down and a couple of other teams taking DE’s after us Mayock stayed put and took his guy. Polished plug and play 3 down DE that can flip sides and has great intangibles.

Really no “reaches” the rest of the way. Mayock worked the board and took great need/fit/talent types the rest of the way.

Pretty good draft for Mayock. Let’s see what kind of UDFA haul we can get.

I’d like to see another WR who can stretch the D, a guy who can push Ateman off the roster. —-Doss might make the final 53, probably sticks as P/S.

A body who can move at LB. —Coney has a chance to stick.

Interior OL could still use a a body or two IMO. —Cotton could be a depth guy, probably makes the P/S if he’s cut.

Type three needs addressed in UDFA immediately. Mayock having a great day 3.

Draft grade is a C-
I had it as a D due to the reaches (Ferrell at 4 and even Abrams) but later picks raised the grade.

Could have had Oliver and Sweat, or even Allen. I can't believe Raiders graded Ferrell above Allen. Jacksonville comes to Oakland in December and we'll we can rate each rookies progress.

Ferrell needs to be an impact player for this draft to be a success. Players taken at 4 can't just be "solid"

Our first 4 picks will be starting day one. Have to give the draft a B/B+. I wish we would have gotten an IOL but we have so many holes we can’t afford to miss on any picks.

Solid B

Mayock and Gru had a plan, targeted specific players and I think for the most part got them...

The core players taken have already established themselves as productive players and self motivated leaders...nobody was taken on the come, nobody has injury/maturity/motivation issues.... Ferrell is going to be a team captain maybe from the jump

That’s the thing with Ferrell we’ll never be able to measure with stats. Allen or Oliver may have better numbers but will they have the positive effect on our defense Ferrell will?

Time will tell. Nobody has played a game yet.

Draft grades an hour after are dumb but its fun and silly anyways who cares.

Losing Sweat stings.

The run on S’s started before we took Abrams, and he was the highest rated S on many boards. End of the 1st top of the 2nd was where I’ve seen him mocked for months...

Really, losing Sweat made us immediately hate the pick but it’s a good pick.
