That's what pissed me off, went to get sushi and they shove avocado in every damn roll now..

You need to stay away from the all you can eat sushi places dummy. I've been doing this keto thing and have dropped about 12 lbs so far. Goal is to get to about 210. Involves eating a lot of fats and avocado is one of the good fats but honestly, I am getting sick of it. Haven't eaten any pasta, bread or sugar in nearly a month. This shit works.

It does but at some point you need to also watch your total calories. Avocado is great... I never get sick of it. Low carb diets are just healthier overall. There's a good documentary on Netflix called the Magic Pill, pretty interesting!

Yah I watched it the other day. Interesting stuff. Americans in general have horrible eating habits. Id like to get down to my goal weight of about 210, then go on a modified Mediterranean diet. Lots of lean healthy proteins and veggies. . Still going to monitor my carb intake. Sugars are a killer. Do miss my craft beers though. :beerbang:

I know man, I look at a good beer and it makes me fat. I'm down to 195 from 207, not really looking to lose weight at this point, just trade muscle for fat. Trying to get down to 10% BF, shit is fucking hard at 49! My diet is pretty much 30% fat 30% carbs and 40% protein and trying to stay around 2000 calories, which when you do that you basically need to eat vegetables and meat...

Sushi is a good example.I've only eaten sushi once or twice.Other than the Asian buffet. I like it just never had the opportunity.Never been to Hawaii or Japan.And yet when I go to those buffets I wonder.What the Fuck is that shit? Fried sushi.With a white sour cream type of dressing.Or multiple sauces on top.This isn't sushi.At least avocado is an actual food.But isn't that a California roll?

Too many food and fast food places trying to be too many different things.If you have a good concept and good food then stay in your lane.Jack in the Box has a new commercial for a new item all the time.

And industrialized food is so fucked up it's probably a major reason we're all fucked up.Eating less natural stuff is probably what his killing us or making us sick.

My kids like that syrup from the grocery aisle.One time I got the good Vermont maple syrup and they and my wife said the want fucking Log Cabin.And my wife is from upstate New York.She should know better.

Plus every new trend and they will put that food in everything.Like Sriracha or bacon.I like both but not in every single food.

Basically every thing in moderation.Pasta isn't bad for you but 2 pounds plus sauce is.Hello Olive garden.Half pound burger plus bacon "cheese" and fries.Its good but I can't move for a few hours.Simple.

Now some one get me an Irish Whiskey on the rocks.Please don't judge.

Edit:I didn't even mention all that diet or sugar free shit.My Mom gets all that shit.It's the worst.

By the way.I stopped drinking about 3 years ago.Lost some weight but not a lot I think it's more about all the sparkling water I drink.I now will occasionally have a beer.Or a whiskey.But like just one.

Still love a good IPA.Love it.I enjoy it more now I think.

Yah not a huge fan of those sushi rolls with mayo and cream cheese in them. That's a bastardized American thing. Sushi/sashimi is at its best when eaten simple. I cant remember the last time I was at a fast food joint unless it was at Five Guys for one of their burgers. Americans are killing themselves with the way they eat.

That Magic Pill documentary that DK mentioned was really eye opening. One of the segments showed how this aboriginal village in Australia went from being hunters and gatherers to eating processed foods the white man exposed them to. Almost all were obese and had various forms diabetes. After two weeks on a keto diet which was more in line with their traditional food, not only did they lose weight but most of them were no longer diabetic.
