***Official Day 1 Draft Thread*** (2016)

I've seen him listed at 5-11 205 lbs on older websites & 5-10 193 on the updated draft ones.

I haven't seen him listed under 5-10 anywhere?

He also doesn't look frail to me. Def shorter than you'd like tho, no argument there.

Fuck Horseface, arrogant asshole. Nothing against Lynch, but I hope beyond hope he busts.

They are picking him apart on ESPN.
Shity vision, unable to read cover two, can't even make a simple check down.

Didn't realize Polamlu was that small.

Gunna look funny with Joseph standing next to Smith and Amerson though...

Exactly!

"That you're nickel back bruh? Covers slot receivers?"

"Naw bruh, that's our safety."

"Safety? Bwahaha-" whump!

Recoils from smelling salts, "Yeah, I can see that. What? Two fingers, bruh."

Not real concerned about his measurables. As has been reported, a LOT of very good safety's have been sub-6 feet and right around 200 lbs. Tatum, Polamalu, Earl Thomas, Ed Reed, etc., etc. If you can play...you can play. Plus, we've all saw his highlights, just straight up stoning (or, Tunseling?) fools. And not once during his career did he get injured (it was during a mid-week practice, non contact freak type thing). It would be different if he was always out with shoulder, ankle or knee injuries - that's when I would be worried. So his body-structure looks like it can absorb ALL these hits. I mean the cat had 42 straight starts while playing like a mad man..

Oakland Raiders
Draft pick:Karl Joseph (No. 14 overall)
Day 1 grade: B
The skinny: Joseph is a very talented player who certainly deserves first-round consideration. He did miss a lot of last season over a non-contact injury, however. And was the 14th pick too early to secure his services? If he turns out to be another Earl Thomas, then the answer is a resounding "no."
