*** Official not too soon 2024 draft thread***

Vinny seems to agree. Or is at least setting up a story that it’s not Telescope’s fault. Lol

Both the Giants and the Falcons could take a QB as well. Giants b/c Jones isn't exactly a sure thing, and Cousins is old and coming off a serious injury. That would be potentially 5 QBs in top 10.

You don’t pay Cousins $45M, then not try to make the playoffs. Lol. Not buying that noise at all.

I don't think either will. You don't spend $100 mil of your owner's money and then go draft another guy. They're both in that situation. Falcons probably take one of the developmental guys on day three though. Daboll won't be saved by a rookie. He's already got one foot out the door with the temperament questions that ran off his DC, so he needs as much help as he can get to make it through 2024 with as good of a record as he can muster. He goes 4-13 or some shit, rookie or not, he's gone.

Yep. They signed Cousins because they think they can win the division. Ridder was the reason they didn't make the playoffs last year.

Say no Daniels trade but Penix and Nix are on the Board at #13. Which position player(s), if any, are too good and/or too good a fit to pass on for a QB?
  • CB: None
  • OT: Alt, Fuaga*
  • WR: MHJ, Nabers, Odunze**
  • DE: None
*I go back and forth on whether I’d pick Penix or Fuaga. If Fuaga is gone, there is not another OT I’d draft before Penix.

**Alternatively, I’d consider trading down if an offer was rich enough.

The 'niks don't know shit

The 'niks don't know shit
They pretty much had the same 9 guys surrounding #13 but diverged significantly in terms of the 9 guys around #44. Guessing by #77 they’d hardly have any of the same 9 guys, which is why I like Arif’s CBB.

I like sainstril a lot at our 2nd - if we have a 2nd and qb figured out. But that's not likely. Already stated I like Kingsley. Its also the top of my 3rd tier of players with some bottom of my 2nd area. It's a year if we picked a school... draft a bunch of mich guys... just not jj.

Teams trying to move up for QB and calling Washington are being told they are not moving. Washington’s GM Adam Peters has publicly stated the Commanders feel great about staying at No. 2 and picking their QB.
