One of my mom's neighbors had told her this, and she was telling me about it yesterday.

I just guessed it was some dumb shit that came from social media, and lo and behold, I was right.

What I honestly don't understand about this argument is how they explain the fact that pretty much the rest of the entire fucking world has been locked down. And most of it doesn't give a flying fuck about the US elections and who wins the American Presidency.

Do they think that all around the world economies are going up in smoke and people are losing their livelihoods and possibly their lives just to piss of Fox News and Donald Trump?

It doesn't matter what you say to a conspiracy theorist. Any evidence, regardless of what it is, is just more evidence of conspiracy. For the conspiracy theorist, it just shows how deep the conspiracy runs.
