Looking to next year

What happens if we play Kizer?

We put up 6 pts per game and get blown out by 30?

Guess what? Thats the world we are livin in right now anyways lol.
I don’t care if they do do it, just wouldn’t get hopes up for that guy is all. Peterman is more likely to pan out tbh

Problem is that Carr hasn't had quite enough rope for a significant portion of the fanbase (and the decision makers that matter). I think you keep giving him rope, but not with the hope that he pulls it together.

hope the rope gets put around his neck and pulled together. JK I’m just ready to move on.

What happens? Nothing that isn't already happening now. At the end of the season we have two less QB's on our roster.

I mean starting Kizer is not realistic. Gruden is not going to do that.

But playing Kizer wouldnt effect us in any way on the scoreboard IMO. We would continue to lose by 18+ points just like we have alll year.

No big deal to me. It would likely put us in the top 10 picks.

Yup I hear you 100 percent.

Kizer/Peterman do nothing for me at all.

It would be an entertaining train wreck and ensure we pick earlier in the draft at least.

Picking 10-12 might get you in the Tua/Herbert range (If you like those guys. Who knows what Mayock/Gruden think)

Chucky went out and got Peterman so expect him to be in the mix next season. They stashed him on IR

I don’t see us tanking until we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Would love to see Carr benched. The guy has never had any serious competition since he’s been anointed starter. Fuck that

You don't think there would be more defensive scores? At least Carr has had a couple games where he takes care of the football. Kizer's whole career is like Carr the last 2 games.

I won't dispute the last of scoring from Carr, of course. He's been atrocious for 3 games now, win against Cincy notwithstanding.

I think Gruden really likes him TBH. He's got upside and is a good scrambler. He didn't look all that bad at all in preseason, I thought they were going to keep him and cut Glennon before the injury.

Its been his mantra for the last 6 years. Has some great games and then shits the bed.

I really think Winston would do good here...

He’s a turnover machine. I think he has even more lost fumbles than David in the last five years or something

Deep throws yes.. but he's accurate under 15 yards which is the farthest we throw in this offense- and he can scramble and run...

Only if he can bring Mike Evans And Lavonte David with him

He probably sucks but he's still a young prospect.

For all the shit he's taken he's the same age as Will Grier and Drew Lock.

Must have entered the NFL at 20?

Yeah he was really young when he came out. I just remember Mayock seemed to really like him when he was doing that draft on NFLN. He was extremely raw coming out but had a lot of natural ability.

Although it’s not saying much, he did win a starting job his rookie year and has been well coached since he has been in the league.

As you said, he’s still really young. He’s got tools. And the term “football junkie” seems to always get mentioned when coaches/scouts have talked about him.

I have no idea where is is development wise, but crazier things have happened.
