Hey man, with the HOF game and all, I know last year the Raiders started camp around July 27th, or in that area.. with the 5 game pre-season we got, happen to know when camp starts? Rookies and Vets?

I dunno what happen, The Nips cant seem to find it anywhere

I know its aug 6th for the HOF game

I gotta believe camp would at least be a couple of weeks before eh?

I kinda dig the 5 pre-season game schedule myself

Ya got the skinny on the start of training camp?

I'm bleeding ass over here

This sh*t has got me all tore up and bored

BTW

I'll be at the MNF home opener in Oakland agaisnt the chargers just in case anyone wants my autograph, flying in from Florida

Dig the great deals

5 Bones for a pic with the Nips
10 bones for an autograph 8x10 of the Great Nippled one
15 bones to sign your jersey
20 bones to kiss your baby...

My time is very limited, hurry!, operaters are standing by..

Reserve your chance to meet the Great Nippled one

LOL...that's some funny stuff Nipsy...

I think that veterans and rookies report to training camp on July 24th and they start practice on July 25th.

I am happy the five games too....kinda helps us fine tune everything to kickass on opening day.

...Plus it's sure to put Gibson, Curry, Williams and possibly Sapp on IR before the regular season even starts. That way we don't start relying on any of them before they go down.

See? And people tell me I don't know how to see the silver lining. Sheeesh...

i dont mind 5 games. its the regular season scheduling i look for in whether we get a raw deal or not. last years was a pretty raw deal IMO. especially compared to how it weas set up for our rivals.

We will have guest international coaches at training camp again....

Raiders Global Appeal

June 19, 2006

Patrick Esume has spent the past two seasons on the NFL Europe's Hamburg Sea Devils coaching staff.

For the third straight year, The Oakland Raiders training camp will have an international flavor as the Silver and Black have invited three international coaches to join Raiders Head Coach Art Shell's staff during summer workouts at the team's Napa Valley, Calif. training complex.
Patrick Esume of Germany, Radames Carrillo of Mexico and Tang Hai-yan of China will attend Raider practices and team meetings while also interacting with Raider coaches and players.

Esume, 32, has spent the past two seasons on the NFL Europe's Hamburg Sea Devils coaching staff as special teams coordinator. In addition, he tutored running backs and tight ends. Prior to joining the Sea Devils, Esume spent three years as national coach with the Frankfurt Galaxy, which won the World Bowl title in 2003.

Esume coached the Hamburg Wild Huskies, of the German Football League (GFL), where he served as defensive backs coach in 1999, rising to the position of defensive coordinator in 2001. Esume began his football career at the second division club Hamburg Silver Eagles as a wide receiver and then switched to defensive back. In 1995, he played cornerback for the Hamburg Blue Devils in the GFL and won the Euro Bowl three consecutive times (1996-98) and one German Bowl (1996).

Carrillo played offensive guard and tight end in all youth divisions with Club Jaguares. In high school and college he played with Laguna, winning the National Conference Championship in 1993. He was named offensive captain in 1990 and 1992. His father, Don Salvador Carrillo, was a renowned cycling promoter in Mexico.

As a coach, Carrillo has been in charge of all the divisions of Club Jaguares since 1991. In 2002, he became the coach of Vikingos San Isidro, only to return to Jaguares as head coach in 2004, a position he currently holds.

Tang Hai-yan, one of the first flag football coaches in China, has led Beijing Shoushi Middle School of China to the Beijing City Championship three years in a row, and to a National Flag Football title. The Heilongjiang, China native is a graduate of Beijing Sport University and serves as a physical education teacher at Beijing Shoushi Middle School.

The Raiders have long been recognized as a global organization and have increased the popularity of NFL football worldwide by playing in American Bowls in London, Barcelona, Tokyo and Mexico City.

The Raiders reach an international audience through the team's official websites in English, Spanish, Chinese and German. For the past several years, the Raiders have had a business presence in Germany during the World Bowl, NFL Europe's Championship game. Last year, Raiders representatives attended the NFL Flag Football World Championship in Beijing, China.
