If Tice is back next year, God help Vikings fans around the country and the world.
I like the guy and he did the best he could with the Vikings. With that said, it's time for a new management and a new coaching staff. This team plays like a pee-wee football team each week. Forget the fact that they lose. I hate the fact they lose badly. Lot of penalties and lot of stupid mistakes each week. They play like they are not well-coached each week and that bothers me. I don't mind losing, but I do have a problem with coming out unprepared every week and that's where Tice has to take the blame fair or not.

Looks like the Vikes' defense has at least figured a little something out. That 3-4 look seems to be a much better fit for you guys than it was for us.

I did not even notice Nap was even playing this season for the Vikings, Crow.
Vikings D has been okay, but nothing special. I think their problem is that D has been on the field way too long because of the problems on offense this entire season.

Well Randy was traded basically for Troy Williamson. Napoleon was basically a throw-in and he has played like one.
I had some mixed emotions about the trade of Randy. I didn't think he should have been gone. He was made a scrapegoat for what went wrong with the Vikings and that was not fair. I did not think he was the problem at all. Has he made mistakes? Sure, but who doesn't. All I know is Randy played hard and he would do anything to win. You know what you are getting out of him. The only reason why I liked this trade was simply that Randy was losing that speed that made him great in the first year so the Vikings were better off getting someone in return now than get nothing. I understood what the Vikings were doing.
Randy may have helped Daunte score some points, but I doubt he would have made that much of a impact. The team is not well-coached and their OL is simply brutal this season. Vikings may have scored a lot, but I doubt they would have won with him either. They were bad in Tice's first year with Randy so he was not the be all and end all either.
It was best for Randy that he moved on and start a new chapter of his excellent career in a new city. I wish him well. I got nothing but respect for him personally.

God knows about the 7th pick. I haven't paid much attention. I will ask Lynch and see if he knows.
