Who should the raiders look to draft at QB?

Who should we get? (Explain how we get in comments if it needs trading up)

He's 21. Yes he needs to develop more.

Harbaugh ideally wants to run the ball and play defense. Thats how you beat Ohio State. You dont try and throw the ball around vs teams like that. Michigan was built to destory Ohio State and everyone else they faced by clock control. Harbaugh wants to run the ball and play defense.

So "Alabama had a bad defense" is your answer when he does good? I show you passing stats vs and playoff team and you say... oh they suck. All while they have tons and tons of talent and one loss on the season? No excuses for Alabama lol. Their QB sucked and thats why they lost. He couldnt throw the ball like JJ did. Bama had the QB who couldnt get it done. That was the difference.

Here's a video of Josh Norris and Hayden Wick ranking JJ 3rd overall. Over Daniels & MH Jr. etc People act like the very best draft guys don't love this prospect. Its not just Michigan fans.

"3 and 5 plus situations, I would argue JJ McCarthy film is the best of all these prospects" - Josh Norris

He says that he runs and pro offense, makes all the pro throws and works the middle of the field where NFL QB's thrive. etc

He does have that as his philosophy, but when he was at Stanford, Andrew Luck was passing the ball all over the place. I get it. The Big 10 fucking sucks outside of two or three teams, so you don't need to do that much and can run the ball down everybody's throat, but the fact is that his tape isn't pointing to he's a definite stud in the league. Also, no one cares how old he is coming into the league. You have to show you're a starter by the end of year two, or they're going to move on from you. We literally just saw this with all of the 2020 class of QBs aside from T-Law. Hell, if that happens with AP as his coach, we all know what's going to happen to him and in turn what's going to happen to McCarthy.

No hugging Goodell tonight

Please don’t watch this video Bonesy. BUT…if you do, have some Kleenex nearby. We could have had him. Smh..

Based on what?

I think McDaniel wanted Tua which is why he has him.

If you believe the story about McDaniels wanting Young and Ziegler wanting Stroud, first, shame on you, and two:

The. Texans. Were. Not. Trading. That. Pick.

I think that's in the scenario you get the #1 pick, which the Bears were dealing and took Carolina's offer. The rest of the story is that we would have done the same thing that they did according to how McDaniels allegedly saw those QBs.

M Daniel the worst thing to token to us since I’m not sure.

I told y'all. About the only good thing the buffoon did was yank the Band-Aid off quickly. he should have fired him before the end of his first year like Tepper did Frank Reich.

That's fair. I guess it's viable.
I just considered Ziegler's story to be all crap, so I didn't get think of it that way.

The Bears did tho…and according to more than 1 report we could have had Stroud (we were gonna pick him over Bryce)..

According to The Athletic, the Raiders were considering trading up six spots to No. 1. The Bears’ asking price was three first-round picks (including one in 2023) and two second-round picks (with one in 2023). The Raiders never made a formal offer, per the report, as they believed Chicago’s asking price was too steep.

Yeah, I jumped the gun being short sighted. I should have thought a little deeper. Like I said, I just blew off Ziegler's story, but the opportunity was there at a minimum.

I will take Wilson.

The locker room can suck it up. They are paid to play football, not start a tea club. Catch the ball. Block. You don't have to hang out with the guy afterwards.

Except he won't be playing for peanuts. He's got a score to settle with Sean and the Mules. Be pretty fucking sweet to have Payton paying him millions while he beats them wearing a Raider uniform.
