Who should the raiders look to draft at QB?

Who should we get? (Explain how we get in comments if it needs trading up)

OMFG....

The hidden criteria is fucking flabbergasting...

"drafted in the first round"
"roughly"

Man fuck this nonsense. BMI is the height/weight bullshit ratio. Here's some bullshit: (yes, I know I'm double posting)

All QBs 6'2" and above, sorted by BMI. Want to know what I found?

Jayden Daniels
Height: 6032
Weight: 210
BMI: 26.1

Aidan DAD BOD O'Connell
Height: 6033
Weight: 210
BMI: 26.0

Let's look at some others who have a similar BMI:

I see a whole bunch of Super Bowls, MVPs, and 1st round picks here.
Fucking dumbass, disingenuous nonsense.

All data from NFLcombineresults.com https://nflcombineresults.com/nflcombinedata.php

Edit:

Criteria for this comparison:

All QBs with combine data since 1987
Height >= 74 inches (-1.25 from Daniels)
Weight <= 219 lbs (+9 from Daniels)
Sorted by BMI
Filtered to remove hundreds of uninteresting QBs (eg. Kyle Allen, Desmond Ridder, Luke McCown, Dennis Dixon, Aaron Brooks, Mike Shula, etc)

Part that

The other part is "oh noes, there haven't been any successful QBs taken in the first round with the same size so Jayden Daniels will be bad"
Much rather have a Daniels size QB, even if he does not grow into his frame, than a midget. But for injuries, Smith, Bridgewater and RGIII were not bad but good or promising QB.

Which side of the brain wins?

What are the chances that Penix has a Frank Gore tenure after multiple college injuries? If he's on borrowed time, how do you spend a 1st on him?

The other side of the coin is that the guy has missed exactly zero games over the past two seasons and that his physical skills as seen from his 40 time (decent proxy for his knee health) and throwing velocity (decent proxy for his shoulder health) haven’t been impacted at all. Unless there are MRIs that specifically show some type of pending arthritic conditions, should he be significantly downgraded? Players get injured, it happens. Especially with running QBs that have a slight frame. Penix as a player has evolved into more of a pocket passer that better keeps him out of harms way. And Penix the athlete has grown from a thin frail looking kid to a solid frame. And the surgeries that he has had aren’t the same as those of yesteryear…. Guys with ACL reconstructions are coming back running faster than before injury. Pitchers with UCL reconstructions are throwing at higher velocity. These injuries were devastating to an athlete’s career before; not any longer…

Supposedly got a clean bill of health from the combine and we're pretty close to where medical red flags start to leak and haven't heard anything yet in that regard either. I think Tua was probably a bigger medical risk coming out than Penix at this point.

His shoulder injuries were to non throwing shoulder if memory serves me right.

Pulled this off an old article, I'm not a doctor so have no clue what it means though.
Injury No. 4, in autumn 2021, was an acromioclavicular joint separation in his left shoulder. That’s different from the right sternoclavicular joint injury from 2019

The knees are more troubling than the shoulder situation.
