Who should the Raiders look to draft at QB -- 2025 Edition

I wouldn’t be upset if it was. Not a fan of how he’s handled the road to the NFL at all.

Just getting killed in the real world.

Should have just put his head down and worked. Skipping Mobile and the combine did him no favors. Just not good enough to be that arrogant.

People say that the only reason he gets flack is his last name. I feel quite the opposite. The only reason people tolerate it is his last name. If Cam Ward doing the same stuff he would be obliterated by the media instead of the “He’s his daddy’s son”

Watching other people fuck up dissuades others from doing the same. Not all others, but some. Hopefully a few. Then again, this generation...maybe not.

Better to have a QB running for first downs rather than his life on every down.

Worked great for Justin Fields. These guys run themselves into sacks as often as 1st downs. A good O-line is stil important.

On GMF other day paraphrasing Brandt he said if his name is Shadeur Smith QB Memphis no way would ne be being talked about as top 10 pick etc

All of his 2027 money is unguaranteed. He got a two-year deal that can easily become a one-year deal if, say, a rookie quarterback outplays him in 2025. Las Vegas needs plenty of defensive help in this draft, but the offense is further along than people realize, and could support a young quarterback. Sanders' existing relationship with Tom Brady, who is a minority owner of the team, should not be underestimated as a factor.

I do not think the Raiders would take Sanders at No. 6, and I do not think new coach Pete Carroll wants to take anyone who could unseat Smith. But if Sanders slides to the end of Round 1, don't be surprised if they are one of the teams trying to trade up."
