The nice thing for us is he may be able to get some decent staffing due to his current position and his mentor, Mike Mularkey.

The Bills former OC/former Steelers QB coach, Tom Clements is out there.
Most of the quality control guys from both offenses will be available.
Russ Grimm may jump at the chance to be the OC.

So maybe the gamble on the wait isn't so bad? I certainly hope so.

Don't get your hopes up just yet jc unfortunately martz is being interviewed by al davis

I saw that, also looks like Jim Fassel is in the mix also.

One guy I've suddenly gotten intrigued by is Mark Whipple, Pitt's QB coach. They were doing a piece on Whisenhunt and mentioned Whipple as the guy who really helped with the development of Roethlisberger.

He's the QB coach. No shit he helped dvelop their QB...

Anyway, I'd be shocked if The Chin let Russ Grimm go with Whiz, but Whipple...maybe. Promote Whipple to OC and have him work especially close with Walter and see what happens.

I just hope we can dump Colletto for a line coach better suited to our personnel.

Tom Clements is the QB Coach for some one now...I forget who he signed with.

How would you like to be dragged out into the parking lot, bent over the back of someone's car, have your skirt hiked up, and have your fanny spanked a bright red?

Homer.

I was TALKING about the journalist you quoted.

There were some reports on the radio that we had signed Irv Eatman. He was the assistant head line coach in Kansas City. Eatman and Whisenhunt played together in 1991-1992 for the New York Jets. I am not sure what his role will be if true.

On a side note, Bob Lamonte is the agent for Gruden, Saunders, Martz, and Chris Mortensen...which explains a lot. So, in my opinion, any coaches with him as their agent, whoever they may be, probably are not very likely.
