Welcome to Vegas Lindy

I am curious if Lindy does better with a more traditional QB to block for. Guys like Lamar are studs and can make the OL look good… but when their impromptu scrambles don’t work out it can make them look really bad too, despite not being their fault. Got a feeling we end up saying ‘Lindy is better than we thought’ or ‘I thought he was going to be better’ in a few years.

I've heard it said more times than I can count that offensive lineman like their QB to be where he's supposed to be.

I agree but I feel like at least he went after good players that were young instead of whatever the fuck we have been doing the last few years. No rocket science moves but also not our normal stupid shit.
2014:

Tuck
Woodley
MJD
Howard
Smith
Brown
Jones
Penn

I don’t think any of these contracts were exorbitant, but most were past their prime. Penn was easily the best signing. Smith, Woodley, Brown, and MJD weren’t much that year. Jones provided a steady WR for a rookie QB I refuse to say his name, but averaged < 10 YPC.

Didn’t they get Trey Smith in the same draft?
I was very upset when we passed on Smith in the 6th or whatever round it was. Didn’t then know why he was falling and it turned out to be bullshit.

The Leatherwood thread is one of the all time greats around here.

Just behind the Arnette, Tyree Wilson, Jonathan Abram and Ruggs beauties.
Yep, and satire is the most optimistic people got on that thread.
