Welcome to the team - RB Ashton Jeanty

They have bigger issues than just AJ right now. Yah in retrospect they should have gone OL but what's done is done. Kid is probably shellshocked. Jim Brown would have struggled behind this shit. We knew we had issues on the OL but I don't think anyone envisioned this OL to be this bad. And the whole thing with JPJ was just bizarre. I'm having second thoughts with this Carroll and Kelly hiring. I didn't know that he brought half his family on board as well.

@Bunyan says Barry Sanders wound make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

Maybe we can get him out of retirement.

OL sucks but Jeanty hasn't been all that either. It's both. He'd definitely be doing much better on just about any other team in the league. God I hate this team.

He ain’t a bust. There are flashes obviously.

But it wasn’t what this dogshit team needed at 6 overall. Deep down we all knew it. Bowers wasn’t what we needed either but thank fuck he is actually so good it didn’t matter.

He was BPA and fit a need.

The need to sit out on 3rd down
The need to have more yards after being hit than actual yards
The need to split him out wide to the boundary
The need to use him in Nasty pass pro formation
The need to worry about how high his stance is in the preseason
The need to ruin a young mans career

Speaking of ruining players, Bowers should have been held out of game 2 AND 3.

I got a feeling maybe Jeanty will break out at home against da Bears.
After that shit show in DC, the team has a lot to prove.

Wouldn't count on it. That's the best front we'll have faced.

I think the idea was that this was supposed to be a wide open offense ala a LeSean McCoy, who had his best year under Chip, but we didn't get the Philly offensive line or its line coach with the package.

Sounds like if he needs all that shit to be good he wasnt BPA

Maybe we can get him moar weaponz next year. That was a famous one here for a while.

Settle down, he just needs someone to lay a block for him.

Hopefully we can get that handled next year before Kolton wakes up old.

I think you had us scheduled to fix the D next year though.

That's what I see. We basically got a smaller, less talented version of Jacobs with a higher pick in the draft a year after letting the original walk, lol. Life of a Raider fan. It's insanity. Also, fuck Brady too because he was around the team in FA in 2024 and should have prevented that from happening if he was going to turn around with his hand picked GM and get us another RB in the draft.

I mean by the time we might be good we decide on Jeantys option.

This has happened like 5 years in a row with shit teams. Even the damn Falcons will have to decide on Bijan (who is actually good at pass blocking and receiving as a top ten running back)

Do they pay a RB 20 mil a year? Or do you draft one on day two and sign two more players…

Don’t. Take. RBs. Early. Ever.

Fuckin retards

Dumb, dumb pick. Team with a million holes. Take an RB top of the draft a year after you let a top three RB in the league walk over a couple of million dollars on a team not paying anyone. Utter insanity. So we decided to go cheap on the position a year ago. Then, the new regime decided to build a running team again. Niether regime fixed the offensive line first.

I did but now have major issues on the OL and they aren't even dressing the guys we drafted on the OL. Spytek needs to spend some fucking $$

We'll probably throw FA money at him. Spytek saw him close up in the division for years and know he's our missing piece, lol. Shit has no rhyme or reason around here.

I admit I got sucked into the “generational talent” shit but I was also for taking Membou.

The funniest thing is all the pundits who were clearly wrong about this still not backing down on it. It's quite breath taking. He belongs in the NFL, but the Barry Sanders and Emmit Smith comps were a bit much. A tad? Maybe?

Maybe we shoulda used that 100 mil in cap space to plug up some shit this year. Or kept a couple spots from melting away.

All those guys we signed are on one year deals anyways.

I wanted to keep JJ even though a lot of people were down on him. He is a top 5 back in this league. That was a dumb decision. It's easy to second guess the AJ pick in hindsight. I wouldn't have envisioned this Ol was this bad though.
