Throw in a winning culture that has dominated every level for the last 30 years as well.

Winning attracts recruits. But it starts with the athletic department mindset. NDSU wins in nearly every sport. That starts at the top. Success is demanded.
 
Looks like kind of a dual threat guy. He will get killed if he runs this much in the NFL though.

Mellot throws the ball better than I thought. That dude is really intriguing.

Chip going to run a lot of Wildcat or something silly?

Yes, fun watch Bird, thanks. Miller vs Millot in the FCS championship game. Both competed their asses off; can see why Pete would want to draft them.
 
Cam is a good player to show the difference between arm strength and arm talent. His arm strength won't wow you. Its on the lower end of nfl standards. He won't be throwing 40 yards on a rope. However, the placement on those deep shots is great. The "arm talent" part. Its not just an accuracy thing.

Cam going to the Raiders personally is similar to when Gannon (a starter for the chiefs for most of the previous year) came here. Begrudging respect. Glad a guy that beat on my team is now a part of it.

There's a few amateur analysts that loved Cam. Enough that they expected him early on day 3. I've seen enough FCS guys not go but Cams predecessors helped get some eyes on the programs. The biggest thing he has over Aiden is he has more overall athleticism.

I've watched both 2023 and 2024 seasons reels and the kid has the "it" factor. He's really well coached because he surveys the field and does a nice job going through his progressions. Does a good job of spreading the ball around to his receivers and unafraid to run when he has to. I think he really has a legit shot at becoming Geno's backup because of the pro style offense he played in.

Obviously the Raiders liked what they saw because they passed on the likes of Howard and Ewers.
