Welcome to the team - QB Cam Miller

I’ll be shocked unless your boy Aidan is cut
You're redirecting here calling Aiden my boy.

I think they did their homework and identified that he was the kind of QB they wanted to try and develop and be part of the QB room. If they cut him they failed.

We will see.

Carter Bradley...

That’s who this kid will be battling with for a practice squad spot. I don’t think enough of Aidan to consider himself a viable starter but he’s good enough to keep these dudes from a game day roster.

Maybe so.
I'm going to assume they don't think much of Aiden either.

A lot of it comes from new information to know what these diagnoses are. The downside is that a lot of people might only have similar traits and get tossed on meds, when they didn't really need them, or were misdiagnosed.

We all have our quirks. It’s not the condition that’s the issue, it’s using it as an excuse for failing to be a functional adult. One of the main things with the neurodivergence is that it’s mostly self diagnosed. Basically people are identifying as having ADHD, autism, etc. and then using it as an excuse for poor performance.

Tommy Mellott told Raiders mediots that NDSU sets the bar at that level of football. Didn't even seem like it hurt him to admit it. Ha
It's tough when they are top of the fcs so often. Even the griz are often the "better" team from Montana. Cats are good on occasion. Tommy was a big part of that

Nobody seems to. Pierce begged for a QB two years in a row. MD straight up said he brought Brady on to find a QB. TT signed Minshew for more money than he was worth. The first thing the new guys did was trade for Geno. Yet A’OC just continues to stick around. I kinda respect it.

He's mentally really tough, couldn't have landed in a worse situation either.

I hope they trade him.

Why isn't some sort of documentation required for that?

To some extent there is. What we’re going through is this idea of just embracing it and preemptively incorporating that awareness into the staff department process. Catering to individual needs and learning styles sounds great in theory but it’s just not practical at the volume we hire. But as soon as you acknowledge it’s a thing, you’re on the hook for accommodating whatever random thing they come up with.

Depends on the organization. I work in the disability office for a college here in southern AZ, so I've seen quite a bit. We will allow for self diagnosis on a short term basis (if the student shows signs of said disability), but unless it's blatantly obvious like being blind, deaf, or physically impaired, the documentation needs to be provided within a couple of months, or they lose their accommodations.

I have a coworker that suspected I had Adult ADHD, but I found out that a lot of the symptoms are attributed to my depression and anxiety issues. Right now, most of my shit is due to the new meds that are going to need to be changed out. Lack of focus (screw you Chris and 007, I admitted my fuckup), motivation, caring about anything, etc. It makes it REALLY hard to get things done for students in a timely fashion.

It would be the best possible thing for him honestly. Give him a real chance somewhere else. I hear the Steelers still need a QB since Rogers won't give them an answer.

These are highlights so maybe shouldn’t be surprising, but Miller looked pretty good as he showed nice ball placement, a quick release, and more athleticism than I expected from just previously looking at some scouting reports. Will be interesting to see if he can demonstrate any juice in making this huge jump to the NFL from NDSU.

So my quick cam Miller. There's nothing "special" about him physically. Good athlete but not exceptional. Good enough arm for nfl but not special. Good accuracy. Good toughness. Good leader. There's a lot of good enough. And then you look for flaws. He's not going to be "nfl optimal" in size or arm strength. Mechanics can be improved. Takes off running too often. But... thats about it. He won a lot. He was a leader. So he's not going to come in and blow you away as an elite prospect. But if he comes in and spot starts? He won't "lose" you the game.

Yes, I think we have to calibrate the prestige of the footage as it appears to be filmed through a tweed jacket with partial obstruction by a pylon.

If he wasn't any good he'd be gone already. Until someone beats him out, he will be Geno's back up.
He's still on his rookie contract. He ain't going anywhere unless the Raiders trade or release him.
