Not the best reps on this clip from a Senior Bowl practice.
Nothing bad nothing great. Everyone had their moments

Don’t need long arms to play OG…Rogers continues the debate: arm length vs athleticism. His shuttle, 3-cone, vert and broad jump are all elite. He has a plus 40 and above ave 10-yard split, but short wingspan and even shorter arms. And Raiders clearly targeted him with a comp 3rd when his best grade I’ve seen was 4th round.
That’s wild.
Wasn't Rogers announced as a guard when his name came up?
Draft Projection
Rounds 4-5
Overview
Durable, unselfish guard prospect with broad hips and adequate upper-body power. Rogers is smooth and effective as a pulling blocker but struggles to generate movement as a drive blocker due to his lack of bend. He protects from a wide base with a punch that is direct and forceful. He struggles with foot quickness and balance to stay in front of athletic rushers and crafty counters, though. He offers Day 3 value, but the ceiling appears to be capped.
Strengths
- Absolute ironman, logging over 4,200 career snaps, per PFF.
- Protection at guard is bolstered by experience at tackle.
- Pass punch is direct and well-aimed.
- Turns out feet and unlocks hips to create a rush anchor.
- Good radar when pulling to find and kick out defenders.
- Climbs to linebackers with steady feet and good balance.
- Keeps pad level square on his combo blocks.
Weaknesses
- Stiffness in his knees limit functional leverage.
- Needs to keep his feet under him on lateral slides.
- Lacks quickness and pad level for reach blocks.
- Below-average foot quickness in his protection mirror.
- Will struggle with rush counters when isolated on an island.
- Displays some indecision against twists and blitzes.
STRENGTHS:
● Impressive initial quicks and plays light on his feet
● Excels on short/long pulls and creates creases on backside gaps
● Stout at contact, with violent hands to drive and finish
● Earned spot on Bruce Feldman's "Freaks List" (406-pound power clean, 600-pound squat)
● Anchors well and has a firm punch (specifically studies Erik McCoy)
● Energetic play personality and doesn't coast
● Durable — didn't miss a start in past four seasons
● Voted a senior captain and was on team's leadership council starting sophomore year (nickname in the program was "Captain Rogers")
● Multiple starts at four different offensive line positions (also practiced at center)
WEAKNESSES:
● Arms fall below desired length to stay at tackle
● Inconsistent base and pads steadily rise, creating leverage disruption
● Needs to protect against powerful defenders pulling his weight away from him
● Initial quickness much better than countering/redirect quickness
● Will slide off blocks when he gets overextended
● Eight penalties in 2024 — way too many, given his experience (four holding flags, three false starts, one personal foul)
● Just four of 55 career starts came on interior
● Will turn 24 during rookie season
SUMMARY: A four-year starter at Texas Tech, Rogers worked primarily at right tackle in former offensive coordinator Zach Kittley's heavy-zone/counter scheme with some gap-based principles (pin-pull, etc.). With 4,331 offensive snaps in college, he is one of the most experienced players in this draft class — he made 55 straight starts across four different positions (and developed under three different offensive line coaches).
With his loose movement skills, Rogers is efficient at reaching his landmarks to anchor in pass protection. He is at his best pulling in the run game when he can build momentum, locate targets and thump in space. Though his hands are heavy, his balance and pad level start to work against him when attempting to counter shifty rushers or sustain in the run game. Overall, Rogers needs continued technical refinement with his hands and posture, especially inside at guard, but his blend of foot quickness, play strength and competitive toughness create optimism for his pro transition. He projects as a versatile backup with spot-starter potential.
GRADE: 4th-5th round
Don’t know why consensus boards (e.g., Arif’s and Mock Draft Database) have Rogers so low. Plenty of draft profiles have him as a 3rd or 4th round pick. Add in a run on OL, a comp 3rd seems right there.
Rogers projects as a developmental starter on the interior at the NFL level. Despite his playing experience, he can technically polish his game to become a stickier and more rangy blocker, but he offers the toughness, punch power, and anchor to start at the pro level.
Grade: 73.50/100.00, Fourth Round Value
Big Board Rank: 107
Position Rank: OG10

Caleb Rogers 2025 NFL Draft: Scouting Report For Texas Tech Red Raiders OG
Get ready for the 2025 NFL Draft with a scouting report on Texas Tech offensive lineman Caleb Rogers. See Rogers' stats, background, strengths..www.the33rdteam.com
Rogers will do his best work at guard in the NFL, but he has the tools to be a utility man for an NFL team and experience at all positions. He worked all three interior spots at the Senior Bowl and had a good week. His length will limit his impact at Tackle, but his power, hand usage, and football IQ will allow him to make spot starts.
Prospect Projection: Day 2 — Adequate Starter
