Not my first choice - but experienced and had a number of great first and second day draft picks for the chargers. Day 3? Well we all need a nap sometimes.

Experienced at the position and knows the division. Wasn't great at picking coaches and made some BAFFLING contract choices. Contracts will be out of his hands and we already settled on our HC so we don't have those issues here. I'd like to retain Champ as well or bring in Dodds for some assistance. But if not he's still responsible for what was a solid LA/SD Chargers roster.

Here’s to hoping we can keep Champ around for some type of continuity in the front office as well as the 3rds..

Also I don’t know if the GM has anything to do with this but, do not bring anyone for their strength and conditioning team over here! Those dudes were always hurt.

I'm interested in how the coaching staff gets rounded out. He seems to have a thing for the up-and-coming types over retreads, but maybe that's just because that's who he could get on the LAC budget.

It's one of my concerns with Telesco. Not that the guys keep getting hurt - but that his drafts don't take injury concerns into account.

If he hits on 1 and 2nd rounders and then takes assistance with the areas he's struggled (3rd round plus eval, contracts, injury concerns, coaching hires) - then it's a fine choice. If we hand over the keys and it goes the way that the chargers have - then he won't be long for the job.

Right now his job is secure 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3 in my eyes. maybe 1.4 if Harrison goes in the top 3 picks in a surprise.
 
Wednesday press conference I assume. I’m going to say 10am that way he can hit up wing Wednesday with everyone at Hooters after.

I am including Raiderfan at large. I wanted Kelly with Dodds in some fashion as part of the braintrust.

I know nothing of Telesco other than he was the Chargers GM and Charger fan was done with him.
