1300 all purpose yards and 10 taters and people are bitching... Jeanty is the real deal and will be amazing in a functioning NFL offense.

And the questions some people had about him was could he pass block or be useful as a pass catcher.
Last year's preseason talk about taking him off the field on third down seems pretty silly in hindsight.

Hmmm. You’re using stats to muddy the water or to compare two different type of RB, including one who had the best year of his career as a rookie.

The stats not only support that Jeanty had a good rookie year, too; there is no reason to compare him to Harris or think that Jeanty will regress as blocking gets better.

Missed Tackle %:

• ‘21 Harris: 15.0% (15th/T32)
• ‘25 Jeanty: 23.7% (3rd/T32)

Rushing YAC:

• ‘21 Harris: 798 (66.5%)
• ‘25 Jeanty: 780 (98.1%)

Harris was a work horse his rookie year. And he had a relatively good year (66.5% YAC and 15th in MT% for a power back).

Jeanty saw less work. And he earned every yard (98.1% YAC and 3rd in MT%).

Jeanty: 20.09
Jacobs: 19.29

He's closer to Jacobs than Gibbs or Barkley.

Jeanty's fastest wasn't even in the top 20 fastest for that week.

I think being banged up for a few seasons in a row took him off the radar a little bit.

It'll be interesting to see if he can sustain next season after getting close to 400 touches last year.
