College football sucks.
College football sucks.
I like the tackles for loss. That’s a more important stat to me than sacks.
Sack and a TFL are basically the same thing.
What about hurries and pressures?
I'm gonna tell your HR.I don't do participation trophies.
Only one gets more love than the otherSack and a TFL are basically the same thing.

Because you'd rather be clever than think.
Sacks matter more because they are a loss of down and distance. But hurries and pressures change things for the QB. The Giants didn't sack St. Tom that much in the two SBs they won but they did harass him badly enough to screw up his mechanics and make him miss open receivers even when not pressured or hurried.
TFLs on 1st and 2nd downs set up QBs to be sacked on 3rd. Hurries, pressures and hits on QBs throughout the game grind him down and set him up to make fatal mistakes late in close contests. Sacks may get more hype, but over the course of 60 minutes, it all matters.Because you'd rather be clever than think.
