so are we going Sanders in the second if he's there? I think Geno went through the same thing Sanders did and would be an ideal mentor for him. In the second he's a good value as well.
 
BTW, wished one of our beat-heads would have asked about Banks and Graham (in light of Wilkins). Was Banks or Graham Plan B? Regardless, WTF about the near consensus shift in mock drafts to Banks over Membou, if Jeanty was gone?

Agreed as to Graham/Wilkins. Wilkins’ status could plainly affect Day 2 draft strategy.

As to Banks, that’s when a follow question comes in handy. Either answer about the Banks pre-draft shift in opinion or be shamed by no comment as @Crow suggested earlier.

Smokescreen, baby... and the mediots fell for it. I love McShay but he got duped and ran with the 'Raiders will absolutely not take Jeanty even if he drops' story.

It's hilarious how many people fell for an epic troll job by Pete. Does anyone in their right state of mind think a hc is going to tweet hints out about who they're going to take in the draft? Especially when they don't even have the top pick. Use your noggins people

Thought the leak was more word of mouth. Surprised if/that McShay, Jeremiah, Kirwan, Zireline, Miller and even Vinny fell for those tweets.

BTW, there was more consensus that Jeanty is a T3 talent than Banks is a T15 prospect. IDK why our brain trust was not into #7 pick Membou, a T7 prospect but with more variance than Jeanty too.

You put way too much value on the consensus mock drafts. Unfortunately we will rarely get any insight into the person the player is. That seems to be a huge thing with Pete and SpyGate.
