Welcome to the team - Geno Smith

Hurts I agree. Daniels has played one season. We don't know if he's Lamar or RGIII at this point.

You have Lamar, Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, and Hurts (although I can see him being debatable) and on the other end trash and unproven guys. Everyone in the middle is interchangeable for me. I don't think flipping Mayfield with Stroud is going to win you any more games.
Would you take Geno over Jayden even in his second year? (not long term just this season)

I don't think that's really the point of a point in time ranking like that.

Who is likely to win you more games with the same team?

You could put Geno at 9 or 19 and I wouldn't blink an eye or think any differently of his ceiling.

If it's who would you rather... I'd rather JJ McCarthy than Geno and he hasn't played a game yet.

Edit: to answer your question, I don't feel strongly one way or the other about Geno or Jayden for one season playing on the same roster/same schedule. Obviously I'd take Jayden because of the developmental upside and chance that he can enter that top 5 discussion.

The pertinent question is whether you’d take Geno or Maye throwing to Bowers & Co. W1 ‘25. As to that question, I know Pete’s answer. And I hope Pete’s right.

What a crock!
