Welcome to the team - Fernando Mendoza

Really hope we get to see some of our guys "unlocked". We know what Brock can do with an average or below qb and scheme. Getting him in something modern with talent around him...

What, if anything, does winning a Natty and Heisman as a QB mean to NFL careers? For one, it does not mean the QB will be able to translate his game from college to the NFL. Plenty of examples of failed such QB. What it means to me is, if the QB is good enough, the moment won’t be too big for him. Plunket delivered 2 SB rings and played his best in both SB runs.

I don’t think Plunkett did both did he?
Burrow and Newton made SBs that did it but I don’t think anyone has won one that did both natty and heisman.

Plunkett didn't win a National Championship but I am sure Sleet has a graph explaining why Stanford was robbed.
Internets say only Namath.
Namath never won the Heisman. Bama didn't have a Heisman winner until Mark Ingram in 2009.

I went back and checked the list. QBs rarely won the award for decades and then the guys who did were usually college-style ones.

The internets are never wrong.

Staubach and Plunkett won Heisman's and Super Bowls, No Natty

Namath, Stabler, Montana, and Hurts won Natty's and Super Bowls, no Heisman's
