Every rookie deals with a 2nd team or 3rd team unit where drops, missed blocks, and mistakes are gonna happen. What you are doing is the “IF” thing.

IF that ball was caught he may have thrown a pick the very next play as well. If a CB didn’t slip he may never have thrown that TD pass. Bottom line he hasn’t played well. Everyone on this board expected more from him. With that being said nobody should be writing him off as a failed pick. It’s preseason… this is where you make your mistakes. The truth isn’t always somewhere in the middle.

No sugar coating it. He had a few glimpses here and there but he looked like a 6th round rookie trying to make the taxi squad this pre-season.
