Our dancing bear. This is Wilkins insurance and a "nose" when we need a fatter line. Oh and he's Zack Crockett for the O. Even if he's only dt 4-5 for us... the offensive assistance will keep some mileage off jeanty. Good value on an intriguing player.

Dude is agile AF for a 300 lb guy. Love watching him go airborne at the goal line. Hope Chip utilizes him in short yardage and goal line packages.
 
This guy is probably my favorite draft pick. He should be fun to watch on offense.
 
If we have to use Pegues as a short yardage guy there’s probably something wrong with Jeanty, so I hope we don’t have to use him much there. Let him grow and develop at DT.

Nah, I think being the all around back and getting a yard are different skill sets to be utilized and keeping wear and tear off of Jeanty for that is a positive IMO

@DonkeyKilla had it perfectly. Jeanty will get his shots. But if it's less than 2 yards on 3rd/4th down? Bring in the dancing bear.
 
Raiders have been a soft team when it comes to 3rd and short. It has been far from a formality with this team for some time now.

Possibly Spytek is trying to solve that problem and Pegs is one move in that process.

100% agree. 3+ yards to go, sure, Jeanty. But I miss shortage packages that work like clockwork. Philly’s shown the importance of what Crockett and befor they Pete did for a living for us.

I'm surprised we didn't add another RB, even a USDA. They must be fully convinced Mostert is going to stay in one piece and bounce back this year.

Barkley is a top 3 RB but the Eagles still go to the Tush Push in short yardage and goal line. If we can come up with a similar mostly unstoppable play with Pegues then it would be a no-brainer.
