The growing consensus around the 2025 NFL Draft class continues to paint the linebacker position as perhaps the weakest group. Of the top prospects at the position, only a few players move the needle, with just Jihaad Campbell slotting into the top 25 prospects.

There are very few noteworthy names falling further down the board. Georgia’s Jalon Walker has evaluators split, with some projecting him as a linebacker while others expect him to move to the edge early in his career to maximize his pass-rushing potential.

As we look further down the board, only Demetrius Knight Jr., Carson Schwesinger and Chris Paul Jr. land in the top 100 prospects on PFF’s big board.

The Raiders lost all our starting LBs.
Unless they sign some FA vet LBs I could see them drafting one or two late.
Maybe rounds 5-6.

I like the White signing to be honest. Seems like a low risk high reward addition. White started his career out at a high level his first two years in the league. So I know he has it in him to play at a high level. The question is can Pete get him focused and humbled again. The shit that went on the last three years with White needs to go away. He took plays off, feigned an injury, thought he should be a. 100 million dollar LB and made business decisions that are intolerable over the past 3 years.

Over all, the kid has a very high ceiling as he’s only 27 and maybe the early success he had got to his head. If there is any HC/DC combo that can get the kid back on track and perform at a high level it’s Pete and Patrick. If they can’t do that, well he’ll be gone in short order, as his attitude and lack of hustle will be used as an example of how to get cut from the Raiders tout de suite. I’m a fan of taking shots at former 1st round picks and seeing if we can get the best out of them in a low cost high reward swing. Just so long as we cut bait fast if it’s not going well.

I am too but when u find a diamond in the rough you sign him long turn not let him walk to get snatched up by the pats (KLavon Chaisson) was such a good get for us he is fast and disruptive he fits PG scheme like a glove. I just feel like the pats skinned our roster for talented players. I thought they would atleast show us mercy and not match our offer for their 4th string linebacker and they sent a big F you by matching it. Someone over in their camp really dislike the Raiders or hate that Brady is working with us 🤷

I don't think there are any guarantees the White even makes it out of camp. Hopefully he comes into camp with a renewed sense of purpose and in shape. He doesn't play ST and a big reason Philly cut him.

Ya like I said he has huge upside but he’s gotta do it 1st. Pete seems excited to have him based on what he said today. Likelihood he ain’t it and I’m good with the shot to make it work.

White and Stokes he seemed very excited about. I’m sure that’s part of the plan to create some excitement about the player that maybe the player can believe in. Hopefully it too much for White… he seems to have had some ego issues in the past

He has hurdles to make the team and most of it isn’t physical ability. He got called out by Warren Sapp for loafing, got called out by Godwin “on a plane” for talking shit about Winston. He chose to sit out a game in Philly vs Tampa last year when he had a chance to play. He’s got big issues that have to be under control before he even is considered as a guy that makes the roster. He needs tk be humbled 1st if he accepts his role as a JAG he could make the team and potentially showcase what he can do. He’s the type of guy you Fire Loudly long before 53 man cuts start to happen if his potential attitude shows up and lack of effort.

So, White stepped up his game in the playoffs, after having his last productive year as a pro per SIS (PFF has always hated White). Guess we’ll see if Carroll/Graham can get the best out of White.

We liked White so much, after losing out on Greenlaw to the Donks and being cocked blocked by NE on Elliss, we couldn’t wait to sign this reclamation project. Lol
