PFF has always hated D. White, until the Texans limited his snaps, then he was just below average. Per SIS, White produced early in his career, but then just logged snaps with below average production.
  • ‘19 (783): 4.3% SIS; 46.9 PFF
  • ‘20 (951): 4.1% SIS; 38.3 PFF
  • ‘21 (1033): 2.0% SIS; 28.2 PFF
  • ‘22 (1028): 2.5% SIS; 36.7 PFF
  • ‘23 (857): 2.3% SIS; 30.9 PFF
  • ‘24 (169): 1.2% SIS; 57.0 PFF
Bottom line: Hope White gets beaten out in camp.

Spyguy just threw White a lifeline. After being cut by Fangio and playing just 169 snaps for then let go by Ryans, White has one foot out the NFL door and a second on a banana peel. He better do something different this offseason.

Yeah it's a low risk/high reward type signing. If he can put the work in - could be a steal of a Deablo replacement. But he will have competition. If he loses out - he goes back to the FA pool.

Not sure what the high reward is; PFF thinks he has always sucked. Lol. Guess he had two productive years per SIS in Tampa. Perhaps Graham can figure out what he does well and limit his snaps to mainly those situations.

High reward in athletic skill. Guy can blitz from the LB position. Has speed you'd want from a coverage guy. Could have multiple roles if he can stop the bad habits.
